Now, we've all heard the belief that every girl plans her wedding day since childhood.
Of course, those plans have changed. What would your dream wedding look like if you were getting married right now? [Let's assume that you're of age, have enough money, good guy, blah blah, etc.] |

okay, sort of subtle and a bit different.
no church, because I'm not religious. I'd love to do it outdoors - like have the service in a field full of wild flowers or something then the after party on a beach?! Guests: family and close friends of both of us. Not the usual black/white dress, maybe pastel colours, wild/colourful flowers to match. Both the man and woman are allowed a best man and maid of honour each! Food is important =D vegetarian (for me and hopefully my man =P) and a mix of all sorts of cuisines, but all fresh and organic and tasty! I actually never really thought about my ideal wedding until I was about 13, but then again I'm not that conventional and a lot of my friends have looked forward to it for years. I don't want a traditional white wedding! I want a relaxed, social but quiet affair =D |

I, too, don't really want it in a church. I used to, but not anymore. Definitely indoors (IMO, outdoor weddings suck. Especially when it's humid out. And 90 degrees. With no shade.) in a big hall of some sort with high ceilings and marble or wood floors. There will be a reverend or some sort of clergy officiating, my parents my die otherwise. And there will be the jumping of the broom at the end since I'm black like that.
As for my dress, I want a drama. Big full skirt, maybe with bustles and gathers and cool stuff, slimmer up top, a bodice or corset or something. I really love the idea of adding color to wedding dresses, too, so maybe something a light yellow or pink or green undertone. Designed by Vera Wang or Carolina Hererra. (The hubby will be in a nice suit, preferably a nice pumice or dark grey. His tie will match my dress.) My favorite flowers are the stargazer lilies and hibiscuses, so I want my bouquet to be made out of those, with huge white Easter lilies and lilies of the Nile. My bridesmaids will be wearing whatever color is going to be the undertone in my dress, and no, I will not have them looking like rejects from Gone With the Wind. That's just mean. |

Outdoors, probably at a garden. Small, private, and simple. Bridesmaids would wear pale green with black accents. Orchids and lilies in the bouquet. That's pretty much it.
