A month ago, I got an email from the Financial Aid office, saying they suspended my aid for the 2008-2009 school year. I got really nervous, because that would mean I have to pay the full $21,000 attendance of school for the coming year. Hell no do I have that type of money. I didn't tell my parents about it. Because I was going to appeal it. So last night I finished my written appeal statement which I spent alot of time on it. Damn it was good too. So this morning I checked my email, and it was from the Financial Aid office. They said they review my academic transcript over again, and they said they made a mistake, and they are giving me my Financial aid back. I was like WTF? I spent a whole month trying to do this appeal shit, and they finally realize I was doing good? Stupid peace of shit. But even though I'm mad, I am like hella relieved right now.

I don't know if that made sense. But have you guys ever felt piss and relieved at the same time, or just two different emotions at once?

Are you going to college this fall? If you are, you were suppose to file a FAFSA back in March. It's too late now.

Anyways, I still plan on going to the Financial Aid office later to bitch about it.

"Dear Student:

As a result of reevaluating your Satisfactory Academic Progress, you met the SAP standards
set by Federal regulation. You are no longer on financial aid probation for 2008-2009.

No action is required on your part.

We apologize for the inconvenience the initial notice we sent may have caused you. If you
have questions, please contact the Financial Aid Office"

Do they really apologize though. They had no idea the stress I been under for the past month. I'm gonna bitch like hell.

Man, it's totally understandable why you're totally pissed off. I would be too. = =''

Hm, I can't really come up with a story right now... maybe I'll edit my post later. xD

Hah, well hopefully Tung proof read all his appeal material.

You should save the stuff you wrote up, though, might come in handy some day.

lol tung

They said I was on probation at the end of last semester and therefore, I would not be eligible for my full tuition scholarship. Then when I got the bill, it said that they owed me $500. I checked and it said that they f**ked up and I still had my scholarship. I was gonna call them to appeal in a few weeks, but since they solved the problem themselves, I don't care anymore.

You should be more lazy like me.
