I made a layout and it got rejected. So I added a contact table and cursor, and it got rejected again. I don't know what else to changed about it.

Layout Preview

The reviewer said "Too plain. Not appealing. Default CSS still remains." I don't see how default css still remains. I change all the colors of stuff, and did lots of work on the tables.

So I don't know what else to do. I have spent a lot of time on this layout, and it is one of my favorites. I don't know what else to add to make it better. Any suggestions?

Moved to Showcase Booth.

To be honest, I'm not really sure if there's anything you could change. The layout is nice, but I'd reject it for the fact that neither the background or the contact table was made by you (if I'm not mistaken).

Yeah, it looks way too plain. As far as the default CSS remaining, like it still looks the default CSS, you know? Sometimes just changing the color isn't enough. See, something like this is good. She has a custom banner & background (which is a new rule we have around here).

All submitted MySpace standard layouts must have a custom contact table and either a custom background OR custom extended network. However, moderators will still be making sure that the entire layout as a whole and the included custom background/extended network meet CreateBlog's general layout standards.

So tbh, this needs work. I'm in no way shape or form trying to be mean or anything; I'm just giving you some advice on how to improve your layout. _smile.gif

The orange and blue colors look similar to the default myspace colors, but they are actually colors from the background. Maybe you guys didn't notice that.

I got permission to use the background, and the contact table is from CB scripts. As long as I got permission to use it, why does it matter if I made it or someone else did? I still coded everything.

I think the biggest problem is that you didn't make either the background or contact table. I don't really like the contact table, though anyways. I do think it's nice, and maybe more along the lines of simple then plain. Which is what a lot of people like.

I see what your saying, but I don't see what the problem is as long as I got permission. What does it matter to people who get their layout from CB if the person made the background or used it with permission?
