When If Jusun comes back, should we throw a party or a riot?

Would you be so joyous of his return that you'd drink all night or are y'all so pissed at him that you'd only continue to beat him down once he comes back?

He will be back, even if it's only briefly.

Arjuna's referring to Jusun's inactivity. He didn't actually leave. xD

I like Jusun. I'd throw a party in his honor.

He's a bit busy, but I can relate.

I have nothing against him.

createblog isn't Jusun's life. not to mentioned, he's quite old and busy with his own things.

jusun leave things to the moderators to take care of it. There are reasons he trusted moderators otherwise he could had just shut down createblog or sell it to someone. He doesn't have to keep the site running ,if people continue to bitch at him or if he ends up dealing with unwelcoming anal members.

Maybe it's just sad to know the creator of createblog isn’t active which leads people to become a little rebellious?

Thing is, cB makes him a nice amount of money, so I doubt he'd just shut it down from people complaining.

I'll be honest here, the admins are underprivileged. In order for cB to continue to grow and expand the admins would need way more control over cB than they do right now. And perhaps he should do just that, let somebody else who's more dedicated own and control cB.

The mods go through so much and don't get a dime. Except maybe chocolate during Christmas, but c'mon.

Just to address this, like I said, he could pass on the torch to somebody else or give the admins more control.

Oh, and for the record, I don't really have anything against Jusun, I just think he needs to let cB go and pass on the torch.

How much money does he makes? And how much does it cost to run this site?

I dont know if jusun would extend more powers to the moderator especially the incident of suz? We don't know who can be the next suz. I don't know if he's willing to risk for that entire mess again. . Maybe I just don't know anything about moderator's responsibilities to say these kinds of things. shrug.gif Not everyone who acts friendly online is actually friendly. Oh well. _unsure.gif

Yeah, he could give the website to someone if he wants to.

What do you mean by "more" control? control over what?

I dont think you're against him at all. thumbsup.gif i didnt think that way.

I honestly don't know the specifics, but from what I hear, he's making a nice profit. (I heard that he bought a new car or something with money he made off cB, but even if that were true, I would be foolish to assume he used 100% cB money.)

Yeah, he could give the website to someone if he wants to.

Funny you mention the Suz incident, 'cause I think mods actually were given less powers afterwords. Don't quote me on that though.

A lot of people, even the current admins and moderators have mentioned that they should be given more control over the website in order to be able to improve it. For example (one that I'd hate to bring up), was when the new cB Styles were being made, I think Trish was given extra access to the HTML codes. And hey, we finally got that nighttime style (and more) that people been waiting for for 2 years or somethin'. Aye, don't quote me on that either though.

Anyway, if the admins were able to do the things that we always have to wait for Jusun to do, then we could probably be in better shape.

Once you give admins more power, you'd just have to be more careful with who you promote then after. And an easy way to have more reliable admins would be to put them on a payroll. lol, I sho would take the task of being an admin more seriously if I was getting paid for all the trouble.

That was like two years ago. xD

Jusun is the only root admin, so the current admins don't even have full access to the forum's admin control panel. That much aside, he doesn't HAVE to be extremely active like the rest of us are expected to be. He doesn't even have to post. If he just checks the bugs/issues/requests topic in Feedback on a somewhat regular basis, we'll be fine. THAT's the problem. When we need something done, he can't be contacted. sad.gif I understand completely if he has other priorities and doesn't come around often - but we're here and we're sort of held up because we can't do hardly anything without him.

Yeah sure, but if Jusun (or the "root admin") could go above and beyond and be more active and involved in the site and have the time to add features and perks like the cB arcade and cB wiki and fix all the bugs in a short amount of time, that would help cB right now.

Oh, certainly. I agree, Arjuna. It'd be fantastic if he was here as much as he used to be. But I'd be willing at this point to settle for getting to talk to him once a week on a regular basis and just know when things are going to be fixed.

Trust me, it's as frustrating for us as it is for everyone else. There is only so much we can do and so many changes we can make. But a lot of people expect us to have complete power of the forums.
