So yea, net was cut off recently so I've been entirely disheartened and have got a bit lost. My neighbors have wifi with shite/no security so I'm back online (albeit slowly) for now.

Basically, I want C&C for the functionality more than the design, although feel free to comment on the design as well.

My aim is to create the feel of a web page rather than a myspace profile and I think the functionality does that rather well.

I'm unsure of the nav bar, should I stretch it, center text, lower it, shorten it, I'm not quite sure. I do think it needs to be rounded on the edges, suggestions welcome.

Design and colour scheme is not permanent, all that has to stay the same is the size of the content window (to maintain the illusion for all my fellow hi-res companions...) and the nav should remain horizontal to save real estate for the former.

So yea, fire away! :D

EDIT: I'd like to add that I'm yet to see another internal nav based myspace profile and I think this may be the first. So if loads start poopin up all over, you know where it started :D

I really like the arrangement and all that. You definately get the real web page feel.

The navigation is pretty cool, but I think it may look better if the black gradient spread across the entire screen and there wasn't that solid grey part behind it. I hate the way the content box looks with the blurriness thing going on around the edges. The nav is very clean, but that isn't. I'd change the font used for "Welcome," too.

I like the gloss on the nav.

And yeah, it might be a good idea to show the ad - not just so you won't get deleted, but sometimes it tends to make a layout look less plain.

I'm not really feeling the font for "Welcome" and the bevel effect for the content box, but that's just me. :P

But nice job. It isn't bad.

You managed to get it to look like flash. But I see what you did there.

It looks good.

Technically the ad is showing, if you click the "Contact" button you'll see it is there, and since it's still on the same page I'm pretty sure it's not against the ToS :D

Thank you all for your comments, I agree that the font may be a bit much, I kind of like the bevel on the content box but I can see why some wouldn't.

I think I might move the nav under the white line and maybe give it some sort of smoothed out border so it's not so straight-edged, any thoughts?

Also, I was thinking of adding a DHTML drop menu for the myspace controls, IE isn't very good at handling them but we'll see.

I like the layout. The look is really cool, like someone else said "flash-y"

I personally don't like the color choice though. But thats my thing.

That's really cool, I've never seen a myspace profile like that one!
