If you could be a foreign exchange student what country would you go to? And Why?
I was thinking Italy, Germany, or Brazil. They seem like places I could handle. Weather's not too bad. Its just the whole "i only speak english" thing... Actually, Im looking into being a foreign exchange student for a year. It's something I really wanna do But its super expensive, like $4000+ |

Sweden, England or Australia.
Preferably England though, because I think it'd be the most fun. |

I am actually applying to be a FES for my junior year! I am going through Rotary Youth Exchange.
Here are my top 4 choices: Japan, Spain, Italy, Costa Rica I wanted to go to Tiawan, but my mom said she wouldn't let me go to a communist country... deadly: What program were you looking into? Rotary pays for everything except your plane ticket and your personal spendings. Plus they give you around $100 a month to spend! If you are seriosuly thinking about it, you should join Cultures Shocked Forums. There are tons of people there that can explain everything to you and answer any questions. It is a great place. |

I wanted to go to Tiawan, but my mom said she wouldn't let me go to a communist country... I guess my dad's not the only one who thinks Taiwan's being overrun by the Chinese. I'd like to go there as a foreign exchange student too if it wasn't for the fact that I'm from there (or more accurately, my parents are). |
