Continuation of where volume 1 left off.

How is this not acceptable? Never once did I mention post porn in your sig. I just said put up a sexy avatar. Someone may put a pic of their fav celebrity fully clothed and consider that sexy. My topic should be reopened.

I'm going to agree that there was no reason to close it. That's like shutting down a club. Why not close down other clubs, like the Twilight Club, KPOP Club? This thread is PG-13, and doesn't break any rules..

Because the last thing we need is to encourage others to stick jiggling boobs in their signatures. While it does give a rough guideline of a 'PG-13' level of maturity in the Community Guidelines, the staff reserve the right to evaluate signatures and other images as to whether or not they are appropriate. I'm sure that it has been expressed to you that that this "sexy sig movement" goes beyond the limit of what has been deemed tasteful and appropriate.

I'm no advocate of censorship, but we all really shouldn't have to worry about how other people's avatars and signatures are going to appear in any sort of remotely public setting.

It's different from the other clubs because the other clubs don't push the limits of any general societal standards. But for what it's worth, I think they're all stupid as f**k.

So wait let me get this straight, how is posting boobs in sigs inappropriate if their covered with a bikini? If thats the case BayWatch shouldn't have never aired on regular television. The particular part where the girl is grabbing her breast in my sig is from an audition tape of MTV's Real World. Millions of teenagers and adults watch that show. So what were getting at here is this is a children's site and we should have care bears in our sigs instead?

No, it has nothing to do with children. It has to do with it not being work appropriate. Or home appropriate, for those who have parents who concern themselves with what their kids are viewing online. Etc, etc. This may not be issues you have to concern yourself with, but that doesn't mean you should be able to alienate everyone else who uses this site. Yes, everyone could turn avs/sigs off, but why would they want to do that just because you like to see how much you can get away with?

And actually, I do post on a really active forum in which all avatars have to be of something either cute or delicious. Most all the posters are male, 18-25 (give or take). The rules are to prevent borderline and tasteless things such as giant boobs from being all over the site, so that people may post at work and whatnot.

Also, boob appearances on shows are not the main point of shows. If we have 50 or 20 or however many people posting on here with "sexy sigs," that's excess.

Thats the thing, who is to say that everyone will post boobs? Prince of Sex appeal has a pic of himself in his sig which he deems sexy. You're not psychic here, you can't determine what will happen. And now Boobs covered up are no longer work safe is what you're telling me. A kid can't go out in public and must cover his eyes if he see's big boobs. I really don't care if the movement dies here and right now however I'm sending you a message and letting you know you were wrong for closing my topic, plain and simple.

Its not my nature to complain to the mods either because I'm a cool type of guy. Sometimes you just have to dust your shoulders off and pay it no mind.

Checkmate.

You've already told me you think I'm wrong, but you go for it!

There's also the matter of context. A woman with big boobs is not the same as a a gif of a woman playing with her huge boobs. I'm pretty sure most parents would turn their kids away from that (not the gif necessarily, but most parents don't take their kids into Hooters, for example).

I don't give a f**k whether I see these things, but be considerate.

Plus, you're better off stopping while you're ahead before you get Draconian measures inflicted upon everyone.

So many parents would turn their kids away from real world despite the fact many children are unsupervised and watch it. We shouldn't talk about parenting here, because the truth is most of the parents who overreact are the same ones who set a bad example for their kids. Lets not forget those parents who wanted to do away with Pokemon and Harry Potter. I guess when I have kids they aren't going to be allowed to watch Teletubbies. We'll just keep going backwards until kids are no longer able to watch Tom and Jerry because Jerry is too aggressive.

At least I'm able to stand on my own two feet. I'm no puppet, no strings attached. Delve on that one for a bit whistling.gif

If you were a puppeteer, you would be the one controlling the puppet, not the one attached to the strings.

No, let's not talk about parenting. It's irrelevant and I don't even believe in shielding children from arbitrary things. But people are sick of viewing things that would be better left in other parts of the internet, and one way or another they're going to end up being removed. It's out of my hands; god forbid anything should be taken care of easily around here.

You have got to be kidding me. None of those sigs or avatars equal sexy. Near nakedness, large jiggling boobs, and some womans butt aren't sexy. Trashy, sleezy, disgusting, those all seem to fit, but sexy....not so much.

Look. Let's cut to the chase here. You can dodge around this all you want, with the whole 'blahblahblah what count's as sexy, do you want to ban Harry Potter too, ZOMG' type arguments.

No one has proposed so kind of G-Rating where everything hasto be from a disney movie, but at the end of the day, though, some of the images here are not appropriate for cB, and you'll be asked to remove them, or someone will have to do it for you.

Meet us in the middle, here, please. Or else we're going to have to skip to the 'Mods are nazis, let's throw a tantrum' stage. And frankly, how tedious to go through that again.
