So I woke up today at 12, got up, and my entire family is out somewhere... It is now 9, and they have all yet to return, or communicate their whereabouts in any way. I feel excluded and sulky.

Ever been abandoned so cruelly and viciously?

I actually have that happen all the time. I just have gotten used to it now....besides, I like the peace and quiet.

Sometimes when my parents say they're going grocery shopping, I tell them that I'm coming along and either they don't hear me or they don't care, but by the time I reach the car, they`ve pulled out of the garage and are a third of the way down the street. sad.gif

They have returned, or at least the rents have.

They were at some function or other.

No one seems to know where my little brother is, though.

I actually love it when that happens. It's like, YES FREE COMPUTER TIME WITHOUT ANYONE NAGGING ME TO DO HOMEWORK OR DISHES OR LAUNDRY!!!

Although I do end up doing those most of the time anyway. mellow.gif

It's happened to me a couple times here and there, then I got used to it and I actually began to prefer being left at home because of the silence and just the joy of being independent. Now I'm really independent so getting used to it with them helped a lot.

A few weeks ago my mom would take my brother to his nightly swimming lessons, so I'd have the house to myself for about two hours, during which I took the opportunity to blast a 1000-kbps version of DBSK's "Love in the Ice" through my computer speakers. It was great, because I didn't have to worry about disrupting my mom, and my brother couldn't complain about DBSK being a "stupid boy band with sucky music."

I don't think I've ever been abandoned like you have, James, you poor chap. Hope they make it up to you in some way.
