I looked, but only found a thread with a link to first five minutes. And it was broken link.
So, don't act like you don't know what this is. Who's going? I am, but probably not on opening night. I don't wanna get trampled by all those people. |

I hope I get to see this in an IMAX theatre. =D |

I saw the beginning of the bank robbery scene, which I'm assuming is the beginning of the movie on YouTube. Looked really good from what I saw, it sure as heck made me want to see more. I hear the tickets for IMAX are already sold out here where I live, so good luck to anyone wanting tickets for that. I myself will probably go the day it comes out, not the midnight screening, I only get my lazy ass outside at that time for the Harry Potter flicks. :)

I'm soooooo seeing this! I can't wait to see Heath Ledger's performance. I'm probably going to cry...I love Heath <3
The only thing that I'm not looking forward to are the masses of people who are going to flock to the movies to see it. I hate being in crowded theatres... I might see it like a week after to opens, just to avoid the major chunk of people going to see it the first few days it opens. |

I just saw the midnight showing and it was FAN-F***ING-TASTIC! AMAZING. Heath Ledger as the Joker is the best villian I have seen in years. Throughout the movie I was on the edge of my seat. There were also some pretty big HOLYSHITWTF moments. Just...see this movie.
Plus, Christian Bale is DAMN sexy. + OMG when my friend and I pulled up to the theater the line was HUGE! It wrapped around the back of the theater, weaved through the parking lot and came out the other side! Luckily we knew some people in the VERY FRONT so we got to cut hundreds of people. ![]() |

Oh my god this movie was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGG
Even though it's a 3 hour sit, everypart had something in it. Heath's Performance blew my mind, I was so creeped out by him at some points and sometimes I forget that it was him under all the makeup. Anyways, was there anything after the credits? I couldn't stay because all my friends and boyfriend wanted to leave to meet up with people. I'm assuming a Heath Ledger tribute, but other then that? |

^ there's nothing after the credits, so there would've been no point.
I was surprised. It was really good, but has a really grim tone nearly throughout. It's definitely not a "feel good." Especially with Rachel dying and Batman pinning Two-faced's crimes on himself. :( |

I saw it last night.. or rather this early morning (12:30 am showing). It was REALLY GOOD and even though we sat there for 2.5 hours, my friends and I were engrossed the whole time. Heath Ledger's performance was amazing and it just makes me more depressed about his death.
![]() BTW I saw more people with blankets outside, I guess they were waiting for the 6am showing in IMAX, when I got out at 3am. :O Damn I wish I could've seen it in IMAX, but that was completely sold out. :[ |

my friend went to see it at imax. but she didn't camp out, lol. and heath's performance was amazing. there were plenty of parts where i was, like, really scared of him. like the entire time i was like, "no way is that heath under there" but damn, he got this role down. i loved everything about it, the way he talked, the way he laughed. so amazing.
i JUMPED in my seat when that part happened! i was like WTF! |

When the Joker hung that dude in a batman suit and it hit against the window with that dude and Harvey Dent, OMFG everyone jumped because it was so random and creepy at the same time! OMG I jumped so high when that happened! Random gunshots also made me jump(and there were a lot!) ![]() I loved when his bat car thing ejected him onto the back tires and turned into a motorcycle THEN he did that wall flip HOLYSHITSOCOOL! I wasn't expecting the movie to be so comedic. Were you guys? I laughed so much through the whole movie. Especially when the Joker dressed up as that nurse and his bomb button failed. LOL! |

My goodness, this was by far thee best movie that I have watched all summer. Even though it was long, I wasn't like oh man when is this gunna end? All of the actors are really good. Heath Ledger's performance was genius, he played the part sooo well. A part like that shows you good of an actor he was. & Christian Bale? HOT stuff. ha.
I definitely didn't expect it to have its comedic stuff. I definitely love the part where the bomb goes doesn't go off and he's just like what? and he kinda jumps after. It sucks knowing that the Joker role won't be played by Heath Ledger again, he did such a good performance. Oh man such a good movie, extremely suspenseful. This is a must see! |

Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was amazing. He was so creepy & scary that it was hard to remember that under the make-up it was him. IMO he overshadowed Christian Bale, big time. Not saying Bale did a bad job or anything, but Ledger just did better. Overall an awesome movie!
![]() My friends and I were all really sad about what happened with the Lamborghini. I see no point in having that mashed. my boyfriend & his cousins were so sad about that. ![]() Anyways, was there anything after the credits? I couldn't stay because all my friends and boyfriend wanted to leave to meet up with people. I'm assuming a Heath Ledger tribute, but other then that? all it said was: QUOTE In memory of our friends HEATH LEDGER & CONWAY WICKLIFFE Wickeliffe was the special effects tech that died in a stunt accident on the set. |

A non stop orgasm of Cinematic brilliance.
With only three short words comprising the film's enigmatic title, it also boasts three epic claims to fame: the role of a lifetime for the late Heath Ledger, one of the best films of 2008 and one of the greatest superhero films of all time. |

Wow I haven't seen another superhero movie that got an A- on yahoo movies for a while. All the A-'s have been going to animations and maybe the lord of the rings trilogy (was it three films?). :P
Okay this is a little weird but you know in Brokeback Mountain, when Jake Gyllenhaal's character said to Heath Ledger's character, "I wish I could quit you!" And then at the end Gyllehaal's character dies. Well now the real Heath is gone. ![]() =X |

The nurse part was HILARIOUSSS, but I also liked the first trick he did, with the pencil? holy shit I covered my mouth cause I almost yelped.
Ugh Heathy, I felt so sad watching him act so good. ): ): Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker was amazing. He was so creepy & scary that it was hard to remember that under the make-up it was him. Did you see his face when he pretended to be a cop when gordon was shot? He still looked creepy and nothing like Heath. QUOTE "Warner Bros said its movie was the biggest midnight opening in history, grossing $18.5 million for its 12.01 am showings at venues across the country. It pulled in a further $46 million from 4,366 cinemas during the rest of Friday, the well-sourced Hollywood blogger Nikki Finke reported." Holy shitttttt. |

Did Maggie Gyllenhaal bother anyone else in this movie? Maybe I should have just erased my previous viewing of Rachel Dawes but I just felt like the character was drastically different and it sort of stuck with me through a good portion of the movie.
Oh I went to the opening show, and let me just say, that right at the pinnacle of the movie, the climax, the turning point, our screen went black, no audio or video for a good five minutes. Then the video came back on but there was no audio for a good five minutes. And when the audio came back on they didn't even rewind it. So I'm finishing this movie watching Batman use this sonar shit with all the screens with Fox and I don't know what the f**k is going on. I was pissed. Good thing I'm going to see it again in IMAX monday. |

Yes, she was incredibly annoying and stupid. I understand that Batman had to have his love interest and all that jazz but, seriously. Katie Holmes would have been better, in the acting department. And she's crazy! But this movie was pretty much awesome. Everyone should see it at least 5 times. I'm going again soon with some friends. :D |

Yes you need to see this movie in IMAX, parts of the most crucial moments of the film, were filmed in IMAX, which makes it even more great of a movie. I think you know which parts I'm talking about as well :) I agree though, while there is not a single complaint I have with the movie, I did notice that Gyllenhaal took the Rachel Dawes character as more of the women in distress, rather then Holmes who really played the DA more efficiently, do I think Holmes acting was better, NO not at all, but I do feel she played Rachel dawes more closely to the script writers, original idea. |

I NOTICED EDISON CHEN TOO I WAS LIKE WADTHEFRICK.
sacrificed precious hours of sleep to go and watch it on premiere night but honestly one of the best decisions I've made in a while. all of friday, saturday, and today I've been like AHHHHHH I WANT TO GO WATCH IT AGAIN. it was such a fun entertaining movie to watch with some nice eye candy to boot. the joker obviously stole the show as I left the theater with my mind completely engrossed with images of the joker and his lines. we had a pretty engaged audience that would clap each time someone said something sick (namely the joker) or when batman had some cool tricks. my favorite joker scene by far is THE PENCIL TRICK <3333333 so damn amazing. it set the tone really well and just started the movie off in a great direction I also didn't like Maggie, but not because I had anything to compare her to, only because I didn't like her nose. >_> mm the sonar light shit also pissed me off because I was like wtf I can't tell anything apart when everything is black and everyone is green and swat teams and hostages and blahblahblah all look the same even if they're not. oh yeah BRUCE AND HIS BOAT OF BALLERINAS :) fun moment there. I just want to watch it again in IMAX with my dad for fun :) |

^Awkward!
I just came back from watching in (in IMAX too). f**kING AMAZING. Bar none, the best movie I have seen all year (so far, but I don't see any other movie beating this...), and DEFINITELY the best superhero movie ever. They set the bar so f**king high that it's almost impossible to beat. OMG. EVERYONE. YOU HAVE TO GO WATCH IT. Preferably in IMAX though, it's just so much clearer. I'm from Hong Kong, so seeing those scenes WERE f**kING BRILLIANT. Omg. When he jumped off the IFC2 tower and flew around, and you could see his wings/cape flapping past the Bank of China Tower and the Central Plaza...breathtaking. HONG KONG REPRESENT! Yeah I saw Edison too (we were like...WTF?!). I'm sure he used to have a bigger role in the movie, but they probably cut out most of his scenes after his sex scandal. He literally had like 1 and a half seconds of screen time. I loved when his bat car thing ejected him onto the back tires and turned into a motorcycle THEN he did that wall flip HOLYSHITSOCOOL! OMG a few people applauded when that happened. THAT WAS SO BAD ASS. I would gladly pay to watch this movie a second time, even a third time, and NEVER get bored of it. |

^No and no. Why, are you not going to watch it if they don't have sex scenes/nudity? That would be a dumb reason to skip it. If anything, the absence of a fully developed romance subplot is an asset to the movie.

He literally had like 1 and a half seconds of screen time. wtf. I must've blinked when that happened. LOLOL!!!! OMG I thought it was so interesting how the Joker always had the upperhand. He was literally an unbeatable villian because he didn't take anything seriously. Oh man, you know that part where The Joker was getting interrogated after he got caught and he was in that room where it pretty dark? Gordon left the room and turned on the lights. I was like OLD SHIT I didn't see that coming! Man, I should've known, lol. BTW I was hoping to see an acid-pool scene or something, instead of the whole fire explosion, where Harvey Dent got his face burned. I believe it was in the cartoon that he fell into a pool of acid or something? :P |

LOL I ACTUALLY SAW EDISON CHEN IN THE MOVIE, AND WAS LIKE LOL SO SHORT OF A PART. With his scandal, I heard he was dropped from a lot of movies, so I knew he was going to be in here somewhere. I so recognized him even with his like nanosecond flash moment.
ughh i can't wait to see this againnnnnnnnnn |

^ It'd be fine for him to watch in terms of sexuality...but there are some mildly disturbing parts. The movie's 14A (PG-13 in America), but with a little more sexuality and violence, it could have easily been R.

I know - I was so sad when it ended that way. :[ I mean it was a really good ending, but at the same time it's like NOO, NO MORE?! WHATTTTTT. :[
And unfortunately some parts were too short. i.e. When Batman was on his motorcycle and heading towards Joker and he missed and Joker was like "He missed?! He missed!" It was a cool scene, but I was hoping they could've dragged it out a little bit more. Haha :P |

I just got back from seeing it a second time and I am still kind of confused about Batman saving Harvey instead of Rachel. My friends and I came to some conclusions but we're still kind of baffled. Is it b/c Batman needed Harvey to be the public face of justice? But Batman said he was going to save Rachel. In the end I guess it doesn't matter seeing as both Rachel and Harvey(maybe) die.

I did some reading after the movie, and Batman was going to save Rachel, but it turns out that the Joker actually switched the locations so he ended up saving Harvey.
Also, they never really say what they do to the Joker, or what happens to him. I think they did that for a reason - that evil and chaos cannot be taken away forever, just like Batman will always have to exist (like how Rachel couldn't be with him). Just my two cents. *shrug* |

I guess that makes sense but I wish they made that clearer in the movie, like not to obvious but still hinting he wanted to save rachel initially. oh yeah that comment about how you cringed everytime he brought out his knife, I did the exact same thing and held onto my boyfriend's arm for dear life. ![]() |

In the original series, the Rachel and Bruce Wayne/Batman relationship doesn't even exist. Rachel and Harvey Dent are supposed to be together, but Rachel doesn't die.
The joker was always in and out of prison. I'm guessing he went to prison or something. For the next one, I think they should put the Mad Hatter |

Just my two cents. *shrug* yes saving Rachael was his original plan, but seeing how the joker switched the addresses he made it to Harvey in record time (30/40 seconds left) leaving Rachael to assure Harvey it was going to be alright when in turn he assured her she was going to be ok. That was kinda obvious if you paid good attention. After the Joker gives Batman the addresses and Batman is leaving Commissioner Gordon asks "Which one you going for?" and Batman says "Rachel". But I honestly missed that the first time too, I caught it last night when I watched it again surpised you missed... it was said clearly and uber obvious since Bruce loves her. also i felt soo bad for Harvey and Bruce. After Rachael dies she had left a letter to Wayne saying that she wasn't going to be with him and marry Dent. But Bruce never reads that letter and believes that she was planning to leave Dent for him. so sad. |

I finally saw this movie today. I went at noon, and the theatre had a ton of people in it. And people waiting afterwards.
I love how they made Harvey have two faces. Some of the people that I went with didn't get it. The good side and the bad side. Like there's two sides to every coin. Everyone has a bad side and everyone has a good side. I thought the joker was funny. Deffinitely one of the best compared to the other people who have played him. It was long, but surprisingly I was able to sit through the whole thing. When he in the semi and pushes the guy out and says "Excuse me. I'd like to drive." ![]() |

^x2 LOL yeah!
Damn that movie was like 2 and a half hours long, BUT I DIDN'T WANT IT TO END! Usually if a movie is 2 hours or longer I can't wait for it to finish, but with this movie...damn. I could watch it for another hour. Totally agree with you about Dent. I thought it was obvious...I mean, the whole point was that the Joker manipulates the White Knight, the hero of Gotham, into this monstrous villain and how easy it was. So everyone has two sides. When Dent (supposedly) dies, Batman moves his head the other way to show his "good side", and that's also why he took the blame for all of Two-Face's crimes - to retain the glimmer of hope that the people of Gotham saw in Dent. Oh, and Dent also mentioned why he used the coin - just like with Rachel, she had a 50/50 chance of surviving, and so he would use this coin to judge people, just like Rachel was judged (wrongly, in his opinion). The more I talk about this movie, the more I want to watch it again and relive all the awesome moments. The movie is jam-packed with action, but more than that...the dialogue is deep without being corny and there are messages scattered throughout. This is definitely a movie that you could benefit from watching a few more times - AND ENJOY IT! Did y'all know that 64% of people would watch The Dark Knight again? I find that amazing. Are you one of those 64%? |

Lol, three times? Dang. I'd be willing to see it again, though. Maggie Gylenhaal (yeah, I can't spell her damn name) wasn't really the best Rachel. Sorry, had to say it. She seemed a bit more assertive and bitchy. Too bad Tom Cruise didn't let Katie Holmes out of the house to film another Batman.

Really? I thought Maggie Gyllenhaal. was a big upgrade from Katie Holmes. Sure, the character is mostly one of a damsel in distress, but who doesn't love a strong female character? She's basically the only female character of importance in the entire movie, so I think it's good that she's at least assertive and bitchy, haha. Otherwise the females would have been completely overpowered.

The only ounce of spunk she showed was when she slapped the Joker (not a spoiler, it's in all the trailers). Too much Repunzel not enough Leia if you catch my drift. |

Otherwise the females would have been completely overpowered. i agree. i think her acting was better than Katie Holmes, although i think Holmes fits the role better physically. |

I just saw it and it was amazing. Funny though because all throughout the movie, we were laughing for various reasons.

I saw it on thursday. Absolutely amazing. Probably the best movie I've seen in a long long time.
Absolutely loved Heath Ledger in the nurse outfit. That was hilarious. The scene where he was "dead" and brought to the black mob guy was just creepy though. Gave me chills. |
