So I made a Tare Panda div for my friend, but she said she will be sooo sad if I submit it to CB... But she said I can show it to you guys.

i really like it
but the background doesnt seem to fit well in my opinion

i just feels like the text is floating there without any defined area for it. i think that the banner should kinda match the bg in terms of color. but other than that, i don't have a problem with the bg.

looks really cute though!

The little banner and the pink background don't match at all. I don't really like it. :/ I just like the banner because that's adorable.

I didn't really like the background either, but my friend said she wanted it. If I do submit it, I will find a different background.

i agree about not liking the background... it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of it... maybe if it were a different color? otherwise i think it's cute. i love the simplicity and neatness of it. happy.gif

The background is redundant.

The best way to have this layout and for it to really work is to center it and throw a background image that goes behind all the content that is a light yellowish color but nothing that is white because that will be to much of a contrast.

You should really think outside of the box with themes, tara panda is way over used and isn't that great anymore.

I just saw your layout submission. So that's what the layout is supposed to look like. I didn't know that when I made my remarks here; I thought it was just a banner floating against a pink background. Sorry about that.

The layout doesn't display properly in the CB live preview. :\

Yeah, I just saw the picture of the layout, and it looks MUCH better than the live preview. It's really simple, but cute.

No it doesn't work in firefox very well. The top banner is misaligned and the background for the content isn't showing.

I would suggest downloading FF, its free and simple.

Also you should center this.

I don't think that has much with how the layout looks in Firefox, which is the browser I use.

I agree with Holly; you should download Firefox and make your layouts compatible in IE and FF.
