Using either PSP or Photoshop, how do you create a seamless tile withouth having to have faded edges?

photoshop has a magical tool called "pattern maker." it's under Filter > Pattern Maker...
open the image you want to take a pattern from. use the marquee tool (m on your keyboard) to select the section you want, and copy it. go to the pattern maker and select "use clipboard as sample." once you click generate, photoshop will make a tile for you. you can play around with the settings to get it exactly how you want it. |
