I'm desesperated. Options

Well, first, I have to say i'm new here, and the reason
I've done a new topic is because, like its tittle says, I'm desesperated. Why? Because since one week ago I'm googleing all the time to find something about how to create a layout.
I know all consist in HTML and CSS, but really I'm confused.
How do you do to make these layouts?
Really I've seen some layouts which they have let KO. They are fabuluous.
I though there should be some programme which helps to you to create them, but almost of the times I've found that only is to know SOMETHING about CSS. How do you organize with so many unexplained words?

¿Are there someone who can help me with it?
Really I want to learn to create this things, I need it :(

Do you want to make CreateBlog, MySpace, or website layouts? There are different types of stylesheets here for you to create layouts with, so please specify what you want to learn.

I'm trying to do a layout for blogger,
but after that, I would like to do for livejournal
or createblog, so in general.
But, are there so difference between one and another one?

Well, it doesn't matter so much, if I learn one the others won't be too much difficult, will be? I can't believe that I arrive to create layouts like people of this web create, these are so beautiful and I don't know how they do.

There might be some programme which shows your preview layout and how it's progressing, how do people do it then? I've already done the header for my layout, now the problem is how to put all spread out on the layout's head, but there are a difficult because in the header there are polaroids down below that the rest of the header, and it means polaroids will be next to the text, not on the text.

Well, I hope somebody help me
