It's been foggy and smokey, and I haven't seen the Sun in a week. The fires are spreading like crazy. What started as a fire from lightning, has spread through Northern California, and reached 1000+ fires and counting in different cities. 41 Other States are helping california, and Gov. Swarzneggar is telling George Bush to declare fire emergency.
lots of people are having ashtma and getting sick b/c of the air. i been wearing a flu mask to go to school >_>

Dude my friend and I were just talking about this yesterday. It's kind of sickening to wake up to a smokey smell and I hate how the sun is being blocked by all the smoke. =//

Didn't realize it was that bad up north. We've been getting fires in the bay area too though.

You would think that after all these years and fires that they would come up with a new way to handle them.

Yeah I live about 45 minutes north of SFO and I haven't seen the sky clear in about a week. It is steadily getting worse and worse. So I'm going out to the coast this weekend and hoping for some fresh air.

WTF. I believe it was last October (ish?) when there were fires in Southern California. And four years before that, there was this whole San Diego wild fires evacuation. :/

Are there any casualties? I hope not! sad.gif

That's insane! What with all the Iowa disaster relief, that hasn't really made the news over here at all. Sucky.

There's something ironic about one state being on fire while the other one drowns...

A thousand fires? That's awful. D: Sang told me there's been a fire every week or something.

I'm so glad that forest fires don't happen in New York City. >.< I also hope that no casualties have occurred because of the California fires.
