I'm SO excited for this!! I've never watched the Broadway production, and I've never really been a huge fan of ABBA... but I'm excited because I just love musicals in general. And I LOVE the cast - Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth, AND Meryl Streep? I'm in.

not to mention, Pierce Brosnan. Oh man, I most definitely am going to watch this movie. I'm actually not that big of a musical fan, BUT this one looks good.

^ Apparently she has a really good voice, as well.

This isn't really my thing, but I'll probably end up seeing it at someone's house on DVD at some point.

I do not look forward to the concept of ABBA songs being stuck in my head for all enternity.

Ehh...shockingly, I wasn't thrilled that they're making a movie out of this. I saw the broadway and I thought it was cute or "okay". I don't think it's fantastic enough to make into a movie production. mellow.gif Lately, it seems like they're running out of ideas to makes into movies so they're taking things from books and musicals...

But I might actually wind up watching this movie just because I'm curious to see how they'll portray certain parts and compare it to tbe broadway. so my opinion will probably change.

^ It can't be worse than the movie version of Rent - and that one had most of it's original cast members! And yeah, I see what you mean by running out of ideas. *sigh*...
