hmm how many more years does kobe have left before he retires? 6-7 years? even then he'll still be only 36. he could very well play till 39-40. I'm pretty sure he'll win 1-2 more wins at least if not more, considering how good the lakers will be in the next 5 years. how many rings shaq won without kobe, or wade? how far he took the suns this year? didn't he get swept last year by the bulls?

lakers good in the next 5 years? so will the entire league, you honestly think bynum is gonna make a big difference? next year is your best shot. odom's ass is gone and vujacic will prob sign with another team. that leaves you with an inconsistent derek flopper, pau gasuck, and defense that allows their ass to get pounded by 39 points in the finals. Its sad as shit for Kobe. best f**king player in the league getting stuck with a bunch of shit stains. not to mention the number of superstars becoming free agents from 08-10. but hey, lakers might get smart enough to get a solid PG.
