Whos seen yet?
I have, and I strongly recomend others to see it.
It is defintly a summer hit and you'll feel like it was worth the money for the ticket to see it. Every second was hilarious throughout the whole movie and Anne Hathaway gives a sexy vibe to the movie at the same time the movie is actioned filled. Noticed I said filled? The movie could've had better action scenes but its okay. And if you liked watching 40 Year Old Virgin or The Office, Steve Carrell does just as good of a job in get smart. This by far is his 2nd best movie next to 40 Year Old Virgin. Its also a movie that'd I'd buy when it comes out on DVD. There are just to many funny scenes that'd I'd have to watch it again.
Comments from people who will watch or already have watched it? biggrin.gif

I'm very interested in seeing this movie... I mean, come on! It's Steve Carrell!

The only concern I have for this movie is that the trailer's already showed all the funny parts. Thoughts on that?

Not even close to all the funny parts. I really mean it when like literally the whole movie will have you ATLEAST smiling throughout the movie. Of course Im kinda mad that they did show good funny scenes in the trailers but I say that theres funnier parts.

Excellent movie. Hilarious. Carell and Hathaway had a very good chemistry. And I love the Rock. Also a great cameo by The Great Kahli.

I saw it, and it was good. Some really funny parts. Personally, it was more of a rent-worthy movie though.

One of my favorite lines was "Would you believe, 'Chuck Norris with a BB gun'?" laugh.gif

Well, it can't be as bad as Jumper. I haven't watched Jumper yet, but I heard it has a lot of holes in the story AND the good parts were all shown in the trailer. The rest was a waste of time and my boyfriend regrets watching it. Although, he watched it in a hotel in Vegas, so yea we didn't waste any money on it. But he'll never get those 2 hours of his life back. cry.gif

I might just rent this.. dunno.

^ I watched Jumper a couple days ago... utter shit. They didn't explain anything and the whole story was pretty random. The only things in that movie were Jamie Bell's character and accent. And how Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson looked, I guess.

I saw Get Smart last Friday. I haven't seen the original series from the 60's, but I thought it was pretty good on its own merits. I wasn't expecting it to reinvent the genres of Male Juvenile Humor or Spy-Parody, and it didn't. I thought Forty Year Old Virgin was better by leaps and bounds. Steve Carell was better in that, and co-wrote it too.
