Fixed!Okay, so my first problem is my flash player won't show up.
You can hear the music, but the player won't come up. It's from myflashfetish.com.
Fixed!
My second problem is I can't get any drop down menus to show up either.
Since I don't know how to put a DIV box inside another DIV box, I thought I could just do drop down menus, but they won't show up either.
If you need the layout code, please let me know!

first problem with the music player you need to remove this part of your code and then it will show..
CODE
<style>
td td embed, td td object{
width:1px!important;
height:1px!important;
}
</style>

Alright!
Thank you!
Now I need to fix problem number two.
Haha. <3

Can anyone help?
I've tried contacting the maker, but I haven't gotten a response yet.
:/

getting rid of this should fix it:
CODE
div div select, div div form {display:none !important;}
select { visibility:hidden!important; WIDTH:0px!important;}

i assume it was originally supposed to get rid of the search bar on the top, but it's pointless now that myspace has changed the navigation bar.

Well, by drop down menu, I meant like this one;
http://www.freecodesource.com/index.php?pa...-list-generator
But every time I post one it just shows up as a blank space. :/

^ i swear that wasn't english.

and cupcake, i know what you mean by a drop down menu. the code i posted is in your style sheet, and it's preventing drop down menus from showing up. find and delete that code, and drop down menus should work.

O-o!
Wow.
I agree. D:

Hm, alright.
I'll try it!
Thank you!

EDIT;
I just tried it and it still wouldn't show up.
:/
Maybe it's the drop down code I have?
Basically, I'm just trying to put a lot of information up without taking up a lot of space.
Maybe there's an easier way than a drop down?

to find a friend id, go here. if you have a question or a problem, please make a new topic & don't post in someone else's topic. also, before doing that, make sure there isn't already a topic on what you want to know. do a search first.

oh & xCupCakee, i merged your posts because you double posted. _smile.gif
Oops!
I didn't mean to.
Thanks! <3 :]

Well, I got an answer from the creator, but her suggestion didn't work either.
D:
Does anyone have any other ideas on what I could do instead of a drop down menu?

I just want to find a way to put a lot of information into a small space.
I thought a drop down menu would be the easiest way, because I don't think you can put a DIV box on a DIV layout.

maybe changin the z-index to a greater number than the div your putting it in will help.
thats deffinitly where i would start
then if that didnt work id scan through all the code and see if theres anything blocking other divs from the overlay

^ myspace filters out the z-index attribute now (because of the advertisement), so that's out of the question.

to cupcake, putting a div inside a div is very simple:
CODE
<div>

  <div>
   all your text here
  </div>

</div>
you can position the first one where you want it, and give the second one a property of "overflow:auto;."

Sorry I haven't really filled it in yet. I wanted to try and get the music player and drop down menus to work before I put a ton of work into it. :P

EDIT;
Thanks for the help and patience, too. <3

magic!
go back to post #4 of this thread.
there are two instances of that code; get rid of both, do the regular drop-down menu code, and presto: it works.

i probably should have realised right away that was the problem, but i was assuming there was some other code messing it up, as that's usually the case.

Alright, I'll try it!
Are they both the exactly the same?
Or is there a variation of it?

they're not exactly the same, but they're similar. if you want to count lines, the codes are in lines 14 & 15, and in lines 28 & 29.
