QUOTE
S. Darko takes place in 1995, seven years after the original film. It follows Donnie Darko's younger sister, Samantha, who, in the wake of his death, has found herself at age 17 with a broken family, mired in feelings of insignificance.[2] When she and her best friend Corey are plagued by bizarre visions, they set off on a road trip to Los Angeles,[3] following Frank the Rabbit's ghost. They arrive at a small town in the midst of a meteorite crash and begin to see the future.

Has anyone else heard much about the Donnie Darko sequel?

I absolutely adore Donnie Darko, and I have to say, I'm really quite skeptical about this... It could be great, or it could make me tear my hair out... Although Justin Chatwin is set to appear as Frank, and I'm a fan, so maybe it won't be too bad.

It does concern me that it won't be Kelly directing. Meh.

Thoughts?

I think they should just leave it at Donnie Darko, but it could be one of those alternate endings. wacko.gif I still don't like the idea.

Yeah, I really want to say that I'm not going to watch the sequal, but I'll probably end up going to the movies just to see it.

I say NO. I won't see it. shrug.gif It sounds more like a Donnie Darko rip off than a sequel.
