having problem with my layout

IM TRYIN TO DO MY FIRST LAYOUT AND IM HAVING PROBLEM WITH MY BACKGROUND PICTURE...THE PICTURE IS 1600PX X 800PX, CUZ WAT IM TRYING TO DO IS A LAYOUT WITH THE MIDLE CUT OFF AND I WAS WATCHIN THIS TUTORIAL ON YOUTUBE ON HOW TO DO IT BUT IM STILL HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE BACKGROUND PICTURE..
SO IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME I WILL BE VERY THANKFUL!!

do you have a link to the tutorial you used or the page you are working on to create the layout?
i would like to see those as it really would help to answer your question.
what you might want to do is upload the picture to photobucket or tiny pic, and then include the following in the "about me" section of the code:

CODE
<style>
body{
background-color:PUT A COLOUR HERE TO APPEAR BEFORE YOUR IMAGE LOADS, IT MAKES YOUR MYSPACE LOOK NICER FOREVER;
background-image: url(COPY AND PASTE URL HERE!);
background-attachment: scroll;
background-repeat: repeat;</style>


and then it should appear.

I did everything on the code it just dont want to show the picture the right way but here the link of the myspace where i put it at

IS THAT THE SIZE THAT IT HAS TO BE ON THE BACKGROUND OR IS THAT TO SMALL?

O AND THATS HAS TO BE TWO PICS, ONE IN ONE SIDE AND THE OTHER ONE ON THE OTHER SIDE
