what program can i use if... Options

i dont want to build a site using CSS or notepad becuase it may be to long and a little frustrating at times? is there anything that i can download for free to make the boxes and title like this website example... *Layouts Graphics Scripts Tutorials* or will it be included into a webhost?

IMO, typing out everything yourself is the best way to learn. you can't get good without trial and error. :]

but, if you want to do it that way, your available options are image editors (Photoshop, Gimp, etc...), and (as already stated) WYSIWYG (stands for "what you see is what you get"-literally) editors. sometimes, your host may have a built-in WYSIWYG editor. however, the way you want to do it doesn't allow much freedom and creativity.

Coding everything by hand is much more fun, but when I first started web design, I used a generator because I was so lazy.

sometimes, with programs, you can't exactly do what you want, as in, sometimes there's not that option on that program. personally, i think just doing everything from scratch yourself allows much more education and just really gives you a bigger range to be creative. catch my drift? :]

No offense, but I don't think anyone would want to use layouts and scripts from a site who uses some fake html editor. If you make even decent layouts, then I am sure you know how to code a simple webpage.
