 I know a lot of people think that Mark Wahlberg is sexy at all but Have you noticed that all of this characters are MARK WAHLBERG???? It seems like he plays himself in every movie just under a different name. PS and why the f**k are his boxer briefs so freaking long in the picture? |

His character in The Departed was far from his character in Shooter, and The Italian Job, and basically every movie I've seen him in has been fairly different. You have to look beyond the speech, and look at the character's emotions, motivations, and his overall demeanor even. Yeah, the Departed he was a ball busting cop, and in We Own the Night he was a ball busting cop. But that's about where the comparisons stop.
And his character in The Happening looks to be a timid nerd type teacher. Which is far different. I think Mark Wahlberg is pretty great. Personally. |

So I don't pay attention to his acting personas. I'll keep it in mind though.

I don't really compare the films he's in. Maybe that means his character isn't that memorable. Or else I'm destracted, haha.

Um..his characters are completely different in most of the movies I've seen him in. Try comparing his characters in I <3 Huckabees and The Departed. I think you're paying more attention to his voice and his accent than to his actual acting. I think he's a good actor. And yes, he's gorgeous too. :)
