shifty.gif done it?

elaborate on your experience; posts consisting of more than 3 words are highly encouraged and will result in member favoritism. speak perhaps of your paranoia, or your suavity in handling the situation. is it morally acceptable? or should practices like these be highly discouraged?

the last time I movie-hopped I went from Finding Nemo to Terminator 3. horrific transition

I've never done it before but at the movie theater I go to it wouldn't be hard. Sometimes during slow days there's no one even taking tickets. It's like they're asking for it.

yeah loads hahah. Not recently though.
I remember when my family and relatives (there must have been like 9 or 10 of us (dad, mom, aunties, uncle, cousins)) wanted to see rush hour 2 on the premire day and it right when we were about to order for the 8o'clock show it got sold out right there. So we decided to go see jurassic park 3 and sneak in the the later show.

There was a security guy sweeping and we snuck in while everyone else was going into there too.
We found seats near the top (pretty decent) and my cousin had asked the guys next to us to let them borrow their tickets to get snacks because we apparently lost our stubs in the bathroom.

movie started and there were people with flashlights looking for empty seats because there weren't enough to go around. some of the people ended up sitting in the very very front or stood.

:P

I used to movie hop all the time. I mean, after all, $21 for two people is nuts.

The person I went movie hopping with wanted to see like, a dozen movies this weekend, so we decided to try our luck. We paid to see Narnia: Prince Caspian, and after that was over, we snuck into Speed Racer, but only caught the last 30 minutes of it, so we went into Iron Man after that. For shits and giggles, we went to see Forgetting Sarah Marshall, even if we've seen it before. I wanted to see Made of Honor, but we totally timed it wrong and barely saw any of it. :(

It was fun -- the movie theater we went to is unbelievably easy to movie-hop at. No one really suspected us. Or... I don't think they did. shrug.gif Plus, I have a cousin and two friends that work there, so. thumbsup.gif

I don't understand how you could possibly get caught, at least not with the set up of theaters around here.

I generally don't have enough time I see multiple consecutive movies, but I think I once bought a ticket to a PG movie to get into an R-rated one before I was 17.

As it is, I don't think I've been to a movie since Christmas, as $9 is f**king absurd. That and I get insulted when people don't believe I'm over 17.
