From what I read in this older thread, shea butter, cocoa butter, and vitamin E seem to work well. Also, cheerbee07's post in this topic mentions Mederma, so you can check that out.

I've heard that Bio Oil helps. Usually older ones are nearly impossible to get rid of though - newer reddish ones might fade though.

I got them when I hit puberty. Most of those will go away, but for the ones that didn't I used Vitamin E. I just got the gel capsuls and broke them open and rubbed them on the little marks I had. It's what my doctor told me to do.

uh yeah I've tried using cocoa butter but it hasn't..really..done anything. although I suppose consistency would help

How long ago did you start using cocoa butter? I think consistency's important; you should apply it every day.

I just wanted to comment on my own experiences with these products -- cocoa butter works wonders! Although, it isn't the same for every person, but a lot of my friends have tried it and so have I, and the results were well worth the $4.99 I paid.

Mederma is really helpful with acne scars, though I've never personally tried it with stretch marks. The same goes with Bio Oil. Just try different variations of recommendations from this thread, and like Betty mentioned, keep it consistent. =x (That was always the hardest problem I had x_o)

I swear...It is a MIRACLE worker.

I recommend it to my friends and it ALWAYS works for them!
