Not to "bash" any mods, but how is it ok for me to have a layout on here for 2 weeks, have people favorite it, then have another mod take it off? Now my myspace is flooded with messages asking me why I took my layout off CB? Its irritating because I dont have the time to respond to everyones message. I think that all the mods need to be on the same page, ad have the same guidelines.

Also, Im just wondering if they are all using crappy computers, and mine is too high tech for this server, because none of my text is grainy or pixilated, and that seems to be the number one thing thats wrong here.

Let me know if you feel the same, or if they are just being unfair to me.

I am not trying to rude in any way. Its just irritating when a layout gets approved, then erased, then approved again. Maybe all layouts need to go through 3 or 4 mods, and they be accepted. Im not being obnoxious, and Im certainly not going to argue with you over the internet.

Every single one of my layouts that was ever denied was because of "grainy" or "pixilated" text. No where on the layout was ther pixilated text. They are all clear as day to me.

Why are there layouts on here that are all one color? Or so simple that anyone could do?

Thats all Im saying.

Sure, can you actually let me know which layout(s) specifically you're talking about? I was looking through your rejected layouts, and perhaps if I know which ones you feel were mistakenly rejected I might be able to give you more insight as to why.

Not to come off as rude or too picky, but I don't see any layouts in your rejected ones that don't belong there for one reason or another. I can give you examples if you'd like, maybe?

As for the multiple mods thing, that's been suggested before and honestly, a lot of the time layouts do get multiple reviews. The upper staff (head staff/admins) go through the queue periodically and see what's been accepted/rejected, making sure that everything belongs there. A lot of the time, an opinion you get from a mod is not going to be just one person's opinion.

There's too much damn bitching on this issue. Get Jusun on here to do something about the system. Set it up like Threadless where 3 people review whatever is being put up and if at least 2 people approve of it, it's accepted. Stop with all this "I like it! ACCEPT", "Well I don't like it! REJECT!". It's even more irritating having people I've never seen before randomly posting about how it's bullshit.

On the same note, though, I do want to put a stop to people going in and rejecting layouts that have already been accepted. You can't just change your mind with something like this - you get one chance, no do-overs, that's just unprofessional. Don't do that. >.<

If a design staff member sees something that has been accepted that shouldn't have been, don't just take it upon yourself to do something about it. Bring it up backstage, because there's obviously more wrong than "oh we'll just fix the mistake". The point is we don't want the mistake happening in the first place.

We just have a lot of this happening, and it shouldn't be. No offense, but at this point, let's just say that decisions are going to be final from now on unless a head staff member or an administrator approves an accepted layout being rejected.

At least PM the member as to why it's being rejected instead of just rejecting it. How many of these topics have come up in the past month? Too many.

I asked backstage if someone might just address this entire topic in one big announcement but they claimed there were only a few cases like these..so...

it sucks to see our mods having to explain themselves over and over again as to what's going on/what's wrong with what was rejected, all while maintaining an enthusiastic/happy/polite/attitude.

They do get a PM, at least they should.

Obviously not, Dani, or there wouldn't be all these topics popping up.

Obviously they are getting PMs when their stuff is rejected, they just disagree with the feedback they're getting.

i provide a reason as to why i'm rejecting someone's design. i just don't hit the reject button. i try & tell them what is wrong with their design & how they can improve it. i know it may be frustrating for some of you guys but we're just doing our jobs.
