i was watching america's next top model one day and then in the commercial for the news it said that. but i missed it. so what i want to know is if its true?

Tight wiring can constrict lymphatic vessels, which are responsible for the disposal of excess fluid (lymph). Lymph isn't under pressure from circulation so its proponents have to be extremely susceptible to compression from valves in order to be distributed. Outside pressure can, therefore, prevent proper cell waste disbursement. There are two points to take away from this:
1. Wear the right size. 2. Don't sleep under a boulder (I used to have this problem). |

Sleeping on your stomach is bad for the vertebrae by forcing excess curvature (lordosis), and it compresses your breasts, yes. However, in the non-REM (NREM) stages of sleep, your major muscle groups are still susceptible to movement and you're not likely to remain in that position for very long since NREM and REM stages alternate cyclically throughout the night (and the NREM stages are much longer), so it's not a big deal if you're most comfortable falling asleep on your stomach.
