Metropolitans, We need to get this fixed. Options

I looked up the definition to a metropolitan just in case I might look like an idiot making this argument.

Metropolitan: of or pertaining to a large city, its surrounding suburbs, and other neighboring communities

So under our profile, we are allowed to pick a metropolitan that we belong to and frankly, I do not belong to the metropolitan of Long Beach. But it is the closest one to my city. I still think that instead of a drop down menu of these random metropolitans, we should be able to type in the city/metro we live in. or maybe you could change this to county instead of metro.

it's not really a big deal or anything, but it still bugs me that I can't really pick a metro that i really inhabit.

This has been brought up quite a few times. Jusun wasn't really around when it was brought up, and seeing as he's the one who would have to change it, the issue kinda passed and we moved on to other issues that we could fix.

I don't think it's a HUGE issue, unless if you really want people to know where you're from. And in that case you could always write it in on your personal information. I don't tell people where I live, but that's just me. But I do agree, it would be nice.

yeah it really isn't a huge issue or anything but i just like having that option of having a correct location. i mean, i might as well put i'm from Tokyo, Japan or something.
