What I mean is... What kind of bra for... yeah. Basically any type of clothing?

Tube tops?
T shirts?
tanks?
those sporty tanks that look like y in the back?
tanks with lacy straps?
white shirts?
white dress shirts? (these tend to show through white bras)

I dont like the look of bras and their straps showin through :P

Basically what everyone already said. If you wear a lot of different kinds of tops, you might want to invest in a nice bra that can convert to fit your style. VS has a pretty nice guide on what type of bras to wear for what type of shirt.

If I were you, I'd invest in one of the bras with the removable/convertable straps.

Oh, and try avoiding the bras with the like texture patterns; if your shirts is kinda thin it'll show the buldging patter really well... which is kinda trashy, in my opinion.

don't buy clear straps, they're incredibly stupid and non-conducive. the straps are pbviously STILL visible and they get sticky from sweat and the sharp edges cut into skin; not good. buy a strapless bra for those occasions.

most of the bras I own are black so that if the straps show, they won't be random colors that mess up my color coordination HA! of course, using strap colors to your advantage can also be very strategic in your ensemble, should you so wish to be so meticulous.

Tube tops? Strapless
T shirts? Basic strap
tanks? Depends on how the tank is made...Basic, Strapless Racer back, T-Strap...
those sporty tanks that look like y in the back? Racer back or strapless
tanks with lacy straps? strapless
white shirts? anything nude or black...those adhesive type bras with no strap work perfectly
white dress shirts? (these tend to show through white bras) Nude or black...same as above

but invest in good bras; they make all of these bras in different styles & forms to suit our needs & it kills me to see a female wearing a cute top or dress but ruin it because they have their bra strap showing or don't have good support...you have bras that you can wear 5 ways, cute straps to match shirts, etc. INVEST
