okay so this anti virus program called malware keeps popping onto my screen, I swear I got rid of it but it comes back every now and then and it is one of the most annoying virus protection programs, [lotss of popups], so is this this trusty? or if not how do I get rid of it permantely? its annoying.

lol don't do a complete system restore thats another way of saying reformatting your hard drive. ever heard of trend micros hijack this? go download that file and do a scan and save system log yadayada and post your results here.

I had a problem with this, too. I suggest doing what Mike suggested, so we'd be able to help you out further.

Also, with my problem, I was advised to download SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition, and it almost completely got rid of my problem. Why I say almost is because I was attacked with a really bad virus, and had to download a lot more programs to make sure that all the nasties got out of my system. It was horrible. :(

okay so i searched that on google and like a million results popped up, which one would be the safest download? because I know there are lots of viruses out there, lol :]
