I'm so sorry if this is overly discussed, but I'm bored and at work and felt like bringing it up.

I know a lot of people use last.fm to find new music, but is anyone familiar with pandora? I listen to it at work all the time, and I'm pretty pleased with some of the new artists I've come across because of it.

^I considered that, but left it alone. xD

It's pretty cool. I recently made a new station, but you can specify artists that you like and it plays music by them as well as other songs you might like based on structure, instrumentation (lol), key (major or minor) and other things.

I've used it a few times, but I typically don't find it to be my best way to discover music. It's nice when I'm on a computer without my music, though. And the concept was really cool.

I do thumb-down a few songs every once in a while, but for the most part over time it's become pretty good. :)

i recently started using it and really like it so far! i used to use yahoo!music for my music, but it always stopped after a certain time of streaming and it only sometimes paid attention to my ratings. i like pandora a lot better.
