Furniture counts as fashion right? stubborn.gif
Anyways, I just came across 1k and I choose to spend it on remodeling my room, ENTIRELY. I got the paint and the cleaners set so all I need now is furniture. Any of you folks know a nice cheap place that sells modern furniture?

I miss IKEA! :[

That's probably your best bet though, if you're doing an entire room. I tend to like things on the funky side and prefer items that you can customize, but I build piece by piece, if that makes sense.

I purchased my sofabed from funkysofa.

(And yes, I think that furniture is "household fasion") =)

Yeah, Ikea would be your best bet for furniture. Although, you can always go to those local furniture stores, there might be things that you like. =X

I would never get a bed from Ikea though. I need something that is grown man status.

We don't have an Ikea around here. At least I don't think we do.

I would say that, other than your bed, you should check out some antique shops. Antique furniture lasts forever. Seriously, if you tell someone to think of the most sturdy thing that they have in their house it's more than likely an older peice of furniture. Plus they're usually sold at a cheaper price. And already put together for you.

I would have to say Ikea like a lot of others, I love their stuff and its not very expensive.

Do you not have any regular furniture stores where you live?

I am definitely going to take a look at Ikea, but I did have a bad experience with them when it came to a bed. Is their other furniture sturdy?

I'm not sure if it's cheap, but Storables has all these storing solutions that get addicting... Like, how many compartments can you separate soap into or something? rolleyes.gif
