I love the "Peach, Plum, Pear" on the record (in the trailer).
I might see it, just cause it looks genuinely creepy, and I've heard that it's actually quite "scary." |

Note: The "true events" is just marketing, they say the film is supposed to resemble the Manson Murders, but who knows.
The film looks impressive, I think the genre of Realistic Horror is getting better, I'll go see, and probably not be able to sleep that night. |

wow, this looks pretty scary to me. those masks and stuff and the music in the previews definitely just creeped me out, lol. i will probably see it in theaters.

oh man, that mask got to me. i fxcking HATE scary movies, lol. i'm such a baby when it comes to those.
 and i'm a bigger one when i comes to the gorey ones, like saw? ugh.  i always need someone there with me to watch a scary movie. so i can like hold on or cuddle with them. |

When I first saw the commercial, I kinda giggled at the mask but then when I continued to watch it was kinda creeping me out.
I hate scary movies but I'd love to know what happens.

i really want to see this, but i get paranoid really easily with these kinda movies. and just watching the commercials for it with the music creeped me out. i wonder if i can get through the movie and still be able to sleep that night. lol

i actually want to see this... it looks like it might have some surprising shocks & thrills that you won't be expecting. as paranoid and scared as i may get it seems it might actually be worth it.

I love these kinds of scary movies, the ones that could actually happen to you.
Basically because 1-it shows you what not to do in that situation, and 2-it makes it a lot more scary/creepy. I hope this turns out good! I don't know about Liv Tyler though.. |

It looks creepy D: I though the part where they had the record playing was pretty awesome, and then it was messed up and then it was all screwy. It reminds me of House of Wax. A lot like it o__o. Anyway, yeah, I plan on seeing it. |

I don't think its a movie I would pay to go watch in theaters, but renting sure. I usually like Liv Tyler so we'll see in a few months for my opinion.

Waste of 8 dollars. The composition was nice but that's it. No plot whatsoever. Prom Night had more of a story than this movie did. I jumped a few times but that's it. The ending sucked
Yeah. Gemma was the blonde girl. Her character's voice was really annoying. I really hope that's not her voice in real life!

i dont think this movie was bad... i just think it left you hanging. i wish there had been a little more detail. not a complete waste of money, but i would have rather waited to rent it & see it at home.

Sigh...
First Off: given that this was Bertino's first feature film, I Say he did a great job and make some excellent decisions with camera movement and editing choices. 2nd: The movie isn't supposed to make you think, its not supposed to leave you hanging, its a story about 3 people who get murdered and nobody understands why they were murdered, or who the killers were. It wasn't made for people to think about. This point is even more so clear when they didn't show the killers faces at the end, it was pointless to show them, because we didn't know anything about them or frankly care about their characters. The only reason we have a back story for what happens to the main characters is because we needed to establish WHY they were at the house to begin with. The movie succeeded on my terms because of the fact that it gave me exactly what I was expecting, a suspenseful bland murder movie, nothing more and nothing less. |

I watched this on Saturday.
It was decent enough. I liked it. I thought it was somewhat scary. Only reason why I say that is because of the popups. I was scared three times during the movie. The ending. I HATED the ending. It was just so random and weird... Is it weird for me to love that record playing that creepy music in the trailer? I don't know lol. I just like it.

I watched it only yesterday.
It sucked so bad. There was no f**king point. The only thing that was scary was just knowing they were gonna die, but then that also made it not scary at all 'cause there was no hope for them since the beginning said that they died, even though she was alive in the end. I really wanted to see their faces. I'm gonna go look it up now. But that was a complete waste of money. I'd give it a 3/10. |
