My hair is medium - long right now, but I want it short. At the moment I just kinda let it hang and I dont do anything to it, but I want to start.
Bottomline, are fohawks a yay or nay? If not, what is good? |

I think it's faux-hawks?
Anyways, it really depends on the person. It's hard to say whether a hair style will look good on anyone and everyone. You could always just do it and then later cut it all off. Be daring =) |

yah it's fauxhawk. i had it on and off for 3 years. it's kinda old style now though. but if you wanna do it then go ahead. i just stop like several months ago, cuz i got lazy of doing my hair every morning. so now i'm just buzzcut haha.

IMO, fauxhawks look better than full on mohawks, with the head shaved on the side and 10 bottles of gel in the thing holding it up. I say try it. If people give you weird faces and point and laugh you may not want to try it again.

Faux hawks are just stupid. Almost anyone with short hair on the side and longer hair on the top could have a faux hawk. Why not do the full thing?
I used to have a mohawk, but it kind of drove me crazy so I cut it off. I might redo it some day. |

After it gets to a certain point, hairspray would be the smarter way to go. Plus, hairspray is a lot less work. |
