How's everyone's exams going so far - any one you're particularly worried about?

I've not got 'em until the end of May and I'm dreading my Media Law exam.

Of the three sociology tests I had this semester, I did worst on the final one, even though I studied most for it. Still I got a B in the class, which was fairly inevitable.

Italian I think went well, but my standards are a little off, since I wasn't able to form sentences in Italian before last week. Still, if I got a B, I will be infinitely happy. If I didn't, there's no hope for me to keep HOPE regardless of my other grades.

In macroecon I also think I did well, but it's had to judge. Still, whatever I'm got I'm sure will nicely replace the 45 I got on midterm 2.

I didn't have an exam for English, just this portfolio shit. It really is shit, but the essays got good grades so I should be fine.

Political science exam tomorrow. I should be studying because I need an A.

Oh, I'm most worried about what I got in Italian.

good luck everyone!

mm, i had my journalism one on saturday, which went well i hope.

i just had my french one, which is now worrying me because i don't know if i placed the pronoun order correctly on some sentences :/
i have my ancient egyptian civilization final at 4:30pm, which SHOULD go well since i've studied a whole lot for it.

tomorrow morning i have psychopathology which should be fine as well, but i still need to study/review a lot today.

the one that is surprisingly worrying me is my shakespeare final on wednesday because i didn't recognize some quotes during the in-class review. eeesh. we'll see how that one goes.

I have a 10 page research paper about population increase and the effects of human impact (prehistoric and present) due Wednesday @ 9AM...haven't started...

THEN I HAVE NOTHING UNTIL MOTHA-FRICKIN MONDAY @ 4:30?!?!? WTF, oh yeah cuz my school is soo lame and because we had MLK Day off (FOR THE FIRST TIME IN IC HISTORY), we have to fxcking finals starting on Tuesday the 6 until Monday the 12.

I just took my Econ Exam today and I'm hoping it will boost my grade to an A. I think I have a solid high B right now and I really want to get an A.

English is a 10page research essay we've been working on for the past month but I only have 5 pages done and it's due Thursday :/ f**k haha.

I'm so worried about math. I've been doing bad everysince the beginning and I'm not sure If i'll even pass the damn class.
It will basically take a miracle. I'm so worried about this one. It's also on Thursday as well.

BUT AFTER THAT I'M DONE FOR..........2 WEEK TILL SUMMER SCHOOL STARTS ):

it's actually not music history class, just a regular "modern world history" class. our teacher likes to incorporate a lot of art/music into our curriculum so instead of just relying on our textbook, we spend a lot of time with various other works: Voltaire's Candide, Mozart's "The Abduction", Kafka's "The Metamorphosis", we also spent a good amount of time with modern art and Lambert's Cambridge Introduction to Art. it was fun and interesting but I guess it does seem more like a art/music history class more than anything.

anyway, to go into a bit more detail, the SF opera has a program that sends speakers to schools to lecture on various subjects pertaining to Das Rheingold. I'm assuming our final is going to be attempting to tie what happened in history during that time to Wagner's opera...intimidating for me, I hope I'll be okay T_T

LOL the guy was like, it's uh 16.5 hours long uncut for all four parts. he made really obviously rehearsed jokes: "the reason why there are only 2 female archetypes displayed in this opera is because at the time, women were either madonnas or whores. actually the current madonna is..both. *waits for laughter* " mellow.gif

but thanks :D!

Hm.. I don't have my final exams until the middle of June, so I'm still just chillin' right now. I actually don't mind because I'm taking REALLY EASY classes this quarter! victory.gif I did have midterms last week and this week, but they're pretty easy. :]

It seems like classes go by quicker when we're approaching summer ;]

Oh man, I loved reading Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka (sp?) That was an interesting story. :P Although I can't remember much about existentialism, but my teacher was obsessed with it during my sophomore year!

Mm durian.

i didn't like candide. maybe it was due to the fact that i wrote one of my IB English papers on candide.

I'm happy I did well on all of my exams according to my grades...I was really scared about my astronomy class because I really didn't put much into it but I managed really above average grades so I'm so ready for next fall; no more slacking for me because I'm ready to graduate with HONORS

I'm exempt from most of my final exams - you get exempt if you pass all the Standards of Learning tests or if you have an A average and dont miss too many days. The only exams I have to take are...Journalism, and English Honors. Blech.
