yeah... so i was walking with my guy friend and then we passed by the guy i like... and then well my guy friend told me that he looked back and saw that my crush was looking at us and quickly looked away in a very "oh shit i got caught" kinda way. x] and then my friend told me that "it's a sign..." i'm like... ok... = = so... does that even mean anything? cus i know i did that once. = = he walked past with his friend and i was staring at his back and then his friend turned around all of a sudden and i quickly looked away
 k maybe i'm thinking too much. Dx arghh and this stupid girl kept flirting with him and he was sitting down on this couch and she sat beside him... he looked SO uncomfortable and after like a few seconds he got out of the seat. im just wondering, does that mean he's not interested in her..? |

Well, I guess it depends. He could have just been looking at your direction coincidentally and he was embarrassed to be caught looking. He might be embarrassed to be caught looking at anyone, though. It doesn't necessarily mean that he likes you.
I mean, if you were looking at someone that you didn't have a crush on, and they looked back at you, would you really keep on staring? Yeah, it's weird. As for the other girl who flirts with him, yeah, he's probably not interested. If he doesn't make an effort to stay and talk with her, that's a sure sign that he doesn't like her. I can't say for sure that a guy likes you if he talks to you a lot or tries to spend a lot of time with you, because each guy is different - they may express their feelings in different ways. So the best way to know if a guy really does like you is to compare how he treats other girls (as friends) and how he treats you. If it's significantly different, he probably has a thing for you. A few years ago, there was a guy who liked me, but never spoke to me. Not even if I initiated conversation...he would just nod and be silent. I actually thought he hated me! But it turned out that he had a huge crush on me - who knew. Guys are weird like that. |

If he was interested he would have lapped up the attention and hung around to talk. Plus sitting closer etc The guy looking at you doesn't have to mean anything. I would say that the difference between someone checking you out and "liking" you is where their eyes are looking... And girls can ALWAYS tell

He was probably checking you out or happened to be "looking" in your direction.
 I'm pretty sure he wasn't interested in the girl if he looked uncomfortable and moved. Just a thought.

I agree with Ryan, lol. I have this happen to me a lot, and it's not a guy that I'm into like that or one who's into me like that. Girls do it, too. We'll be looking at someone and then they'll look at us and we look away quick so that it doesn't look like were just staring them down. Sometimes I do that to people of the same sex in class. I'll be blanking out and looking in someone's direction and when they look at me, my natural reaction is to look away.
I'd say balls to the wall and just talk to him. You'll never know how he feels with you if you don't approach him. Just pay attention to his body langauge. Get to know him. |
