Woah. She looks like an alien in the after one (no offense). Maybe it's the eyebrow arching? I dont know.

Looks like parts of her face were burned.
Also, kinda too shiny in some spots. And.. you did something with her mouth. It doesn't look very natural o_o. Otherwise uhm, good effort. |

elba rick rolled us :| dang, haah but i like watching the video. song is catchy.
i personally think you did a good job with the retouching of the skin. it varies from people to people. but i will agree with the mouth, it should've been left alone but i love what you did with her eyes and make-up. |

I agree that the mouth looks weird, since you shortened the teeth. It also looks really plastic-y around the edges of her mouth.
The eye enhancement is wonderful, though. Her eyeshadow looks better and her eyelashes are so thick and pretty. I say 9 out of 10. |

wow, this came out really nice. good job. her mouth looks weird though.
i thought she looked sooo skinny when she lost all that baby fat and stuff after lizzie mcguire. and then her teeth looked like chiclets, what the hell?  but my parents thought she looked better with some fat on her.

The eyes are what stand out to me the most, and it's definitely the best part of the picture. :3 I think the eyelashes might be a bit dark though. But I would definitely say the after looks better than the before, so good job.

While most pictures in mags are retouched, she has blemishes and bleeding eye makeup/undereye circles so if it was retouched, it wasn't done very well.
Blurring the skin (which some pro retouchers actually still do) is okay sometimes but you need to incorporate the original skin texture so it doesn't look blurry. It looks like you duped a layer and set it on overlay or increased the saturation. It looks very unnatural. Too orange/bronzy. It also looks like she had a bad brow lift. You gave her brows an arch which is great but you didn't eliminate the extra space between her eye and brow so it's too large and thus looks artifical. I thought her eyes looked fine in the original. I also wouldn't have touched her teeth. Yeah, she's got a toothy smile and her teeth are large but her mouth looks misshapen in the after shot. It was good to get rid of her minor blemishes though. You should try D&B. Takes more time but the results are fantastic. It's one of the methods high-end retouchers use to correct skin. |
