So I'm vectoring my friend Ann again, but I decided to start all over. This is how I ended up last time:

And this is the new vector:

Progression 1:

Progression 2:

Obviously very incomplete. Still working on it, so yeah. Whadda you guys think? Improvement? :] C&C greatly appreciated. Still kinda noob at vectoring, since I can only do this traditional/old-fashioned style of base layer vectoring. :\ But hope you guys like it so far.

Btw. The reason I'm not calling this a "vexel" anymore is cause it's gonna be 100% vector.

to make vectors, you use illustrator.

Thanks guys. How are the eyelashes, btw? :\

I've been told different meanings of what a vexel and a vector is. From what I believe, a vexel is basically a raster where the whole piece consists of pixels, meaning it can't be enlarged. And a vector would be one where the layers are all shaped by vector masks, so they can be enlarged without losing any quality.

But then again, I may be wrong about everything. I'm making this vector in Photoshop, btw.

The eye looks good, as do her cheeks and nose. Something about her upper lip seems a bit off to me. Good work so far, though!

Thanks Holly and Cristy. I still have to add some more dark tones and texture to the lips.
