I just submitted a new myspace div; it's the myspace version of the last web template I sent in, called "Hazard".

You can check it out here. thumbsup.gif

Tell me what you think!

Thanks! biggrin.gif

& Yeah another person said that about the scrollbars; if I change the page's scrollbar, that doesnt look so bad, but when I make the scrollbars on the tables "full," so to speak, it looks too crouded...

Ohhh, what to do. blink.gif

the page scrolling?! idk. It may only show in my resolution. I'm 2024x768. I think the blog scrollbars are a little too invisible. Try going with a very faint yellow that ALMOST blends in with the other yellow, but you can still barely see it? I think that would look fine. Other than that, it's perfect :)

Nice and simple.

Rollovers are yellow on white (not very visible and annoying to read)

Don't style scrollbars, the CSS is proprietary to Internet Explorer (IE sucks balls and is not standards compliant) and works in nothing else and it's just not good. I think if people want to style their scroll bars they'll download a skin for their browser (there is ways of getting the browser to display scrollbars the same as the user-end skin, I forget but I'm pretty sure it's CSS).

Other than that, it's neat and lightweight, pretty good.

EDIT: and the shadows are cut off at the bottom of the page.

^nothing you said makes sense. IE does NOT suck; Firefox skins DO suck; you CAN'T change firefox scrollbars unless you switch to another crappy skin.

I changed the scrollbars to black... I dunno if I like it or not. I might change them back. Eh, any comment?

I think the body scrollbars should not be black, but the blog scrollbars look much better black imo.

I suggest you start reading: http://whyiesucks.blogspot.com/

And here it is from w3.org:
QUOTE("w3.org")
Some browsers (IE, Konqueror) have recently started supporting the non-standard properties 'scrollbar-shadow-color', 'scrollbar-track-color' and others. These properties are illegal: they are neither defined in any CSS specification nor are they marked as proprietary (by prefixing them with "-vendor-").

It's not standards compliant, IE does in fact suck, it has been the scourge of web developers for years.

^ so basically I was right?

edit// What I got out of it was that the creators are bogus, IE8 will be exactly the same as IE7, but the browser itself has nothing wrong with it, but many benefits.

You do know that people can leave you comments right on the actual layout?

The yellow blinds me.

Yeah, I know; I made this topic before it was accepted, so at the time, that wasn't an option.

And I like the yellow.
Bold colors shouldn't be forbidden.

You should shorten the content area and get rid of the vertical scrolling.

body {overflow:hidden;}

I fear that doing so would make the content area too short for my liking... Then again, that is a personal preference..
