I cook almost everyday. Monday-Friday. Dinner's on me. I live on my own in an apartment, and I don't have the time to go and out to eat everyday, so of course I must learn to cook. So I practice, and I'm pretty damn good.

Yes. I like to bake things, though. But I'd like to think that a ton of people know how to make chocolate chip cookies off the top of their head. I like to make meals, but I rarely get to... since I just cook for myself.

Haha, I'm like you. I can cook anything pretty much, but then I end up using so many pans, and dishes lol. I usually play poker with my roommates and whoever wins the hands have to wash the dishes LOL. And I mostly win.

I love cooking and have been told that I'm very good at it. I took over cooking responsibilities for the family at a very young age. My favorite cuisine to prepare is Mexican, by far. I'm not sure why, maybe because I grew up in southern California. I do pretty much everything from scratch, including corn and flour tortillas. They're easy to prepare and taste WAY better than anything you could possibly buy at a typical grocery store.

I bake fresh bread all the time as well. I'm a total bread fanatic.

I can cook, but I wouldn't say that I'm stellar at it. One of the reasons I avoid cooking is the cleaning process.

I go out to eat 7 days a week, so the answer is no. If somebody would teach me how to cook or at least give me a manual on some dishes, that would be cool, as I am going to be going on a strict diet starting tomorrow.

Well I have multiples, they're categorized by ethnic dishes. Jamaican, Dominican, Cuban, Italian/Sicilian, American (which is really a book of desserts), Colombian, Brazilian etc... have 34 books to be exact.

It's your choice of what type of category you're lookin for.

Isn't American cuisine, like, French fries and burgers? And deer meat?

I know Wisconsin cuisine is cheese, beers, and brats XD.gif

I have a ton of cookbooks, mainly deserts and German ones. I like the ones with pictures of the final product in them the best, because then I know if what I made turned out the way it should be.

Maybe... American food is American food because of the many different cultures. We tend to mix and "evolve" food with other cultures.

American 'cuisine' is just versions of other dishes Americanized, isn't it?

Anyways, I can't cook well.. I can make basic things like pasta and some Vietnamese foods I don't know how to spell. I cook Italian pretty well, but I'm screwed without the help of my aunt or mom with any other type of food. I'm good at baking, though..

I can cook, but I'm a crazy perfectionist. While I was in Corpus last weekend, I cooked every single meal, haha. I spent hours the last night making a three-course meal, then ran down to the beach to barbeque with some guys.

I love cooking :)

What makes it stressful?... Like the time remaining to finish a meal? My friend told me it's a lil stressful as well but it's because the projects have a limited time and you have to finish the meal within the time given or they dock points from your meal/project

Theres also alot of law you have to know behind culinary so they make you pay a shitload of money to get medical physicals and licenses in order to say that you can legally cook for more then 15 people as a business.

I can cook, but I wouldn't say that I'm stellar at it. One of the reasons I avoid cooking is the cleaning process.

Or i'm too lazy too.
But I know how to cook okay.
