So I heard of Vampire Weekend during Freshmen Orientation Week in college. They played a free concert on Low Steps at Columbia U. (they're all graduates of Columbia, ftw!!) and opened for Clipse.
One of their music videos was filmed in our dining hall!! They're getting pretty big pretty fast... does anyone else really, really, really like them? http://www.vampireweekend.com/ |

I like them, but not really really. They're good to just put on when I'm surfing the internet. Also, they play one of their songs where I work so...ya know...you always end up disliking the music they play at work.

I think they're awfully overrated, but then I fully admit that I'm one of those horrible people who really doesn't listen to popular music at all. Not that I stop listening to things because they get big, but it isn't the same. Anyway, they're pretty catchy, nice to keep me aware during long drives. From the start everything I read about them was a rave, but I guess they sort of lived up to that hype.
