this is really interesting. reminds me of the girl lakshmi with 8 legs?
it is so interesting how a medical condition which is also a phenomana can become a religious issue.

I wish the baby's family would have her brain checked out, because I'm wondering if this condition will be hazardous to her health in the future. But I'm not surprised that she's being worshiped as a goddess's reincarnation since there was that other story about an eight-limbed baby being born and also being worshiped.

i got a strong feeling she wont last too long.
sorry shrug.gif
i mean, even if her brain gets checked out, her parents will refuse to do any kinda surgery that will diminish her "goddess-ness"

it seems really unfair, it's a life of a child.
that is more important than a supposed god.
well to us anyway, for the people around the child, the majority must think that what is more important is a god has been "sent" or something?
hm it just seems a bit unfair to the child.

I'm wondering if the brain can fully function an extra pair of eyes, nose and mouth. like wouldn't it be kind of cool if they both could talk at the same time about different things?

Also lighter note, I told my mom was like, i wonder if she'll breast feed.

as said above, i'm really curious as to how she would function in the coming years.

the circumstances may seem sad or unfair to some people, but imo, at least she's being revered and not casted out for this deformity.

and if she were my daughter, i'd love her regardless, so perhaps that's how her parents feel and, in turn, are justified in making their decision.

I've never seen a two faced human being... that's pretty nuts in my opinion.
