i have a dream of flying a giant kite. i have only flown one kite in my life. it was a batman? kite that i got for my birthday when i was little. i cried because my dad wasn't letting me fly it by myself. he was helping me too much.

lets talk about either kites or when parents try to help you with shit you don't want help with. that pisses me off.

You should've told them you'd stab them in their dreams if they didn't leave you alone. :)

That is how my mom was. In her defense though, everything that she has told me, has turned out to be right in one form or another.

One time, when I was little and was trying to fly a kite, I was running along trying to make my kite go up in the air, then I ran into this little boy, and I fell over and skinned my knee pretty badly. My dad was like "oh f**k, your mom's not going to be happy". not in those words, but that was what he meant.

I made a kite for extra credit at school once. It was horrible, but I got the points.

I hate it when parents tell me who I should be friends with and who I shouldn't be friends with. I hate it even more when my friends are polite to them and my parents interrogate them or just flat-out bitch at them. @_@

I used to love flying kites as a kid, it was awesome.

And my mom tends to try and butt in all the time, its a pain in the arse.

Flying a kite was awesome.

When I was a kid, probably 1st or 2nd grade. There was an event during school, I don't know what exactly it was called but it was a day where you fly your kite all day during brunch and lunch and afterschool. "Kite Flying Day"? lol.

It was really cool to see a bunch of kites flying in the air, there were so many kids running around and such. My teacher even made us make kites for that day too, with paper or tissue paper. And it was shape like a regular old fashion kite with the four sticks, crossed. And the flow-y string (It was probably streamers? I forgot) at the back pointed end was attached. It didn't go far though, and the string wasn't that long as the other kids. But hey, I had my own Kite to fly though. LOL.

My boyfriend wants to fly a kite aaaall the time. Every time he comes over to my house, he goes, "Let's go buy a kite and go up to the hill (that's by my house) and fly it!" But every time, we never do. It's sad. :[

Just tell them, "thanks, but no thanks... I believe I have it under control"

How could you guys disrespect your parents like this on a f**kin forum board... they gave life to your sorry asses at least have respect and honor them for f**k sake, instead of sittin bitchin about how much they care and try to help you. And you have the audacity to shit all over them on the internet?

would you just shut the f**k up? you have no clue how much i respect my parents. me telling an instance when i got pissed at my dad as a little boy for not letting me fly a kite on my own says nothing about my respect for my parents. if someone thinks i have no respect for my parents because of an incident from when i was like nine, then they are f**king idiots anyway.

i honestly don't know why you take everything, flip it around, and blow it way out of proportion. it pisses me the f**k off when you do that to my posts.

anyway. i need to fly another kite, a huge one. a dragon one.
