Seriously.

For the longest time now, maybe a 12 month period, everything that goes on in my life always turns out for the worst.

Honestly, I can't even remember the last time i was truly happy.

Ever had a badluck streak? If so, does it ever get better? _unsure.gif

I'm the exact opposite! Stay chipper and believe that it all happens for a reason and you'll be hit on the head (figuratively) by some wonderful luck soon enough. wink.gif

Ugh I hate it... but there's nothin else that I can think of other than, "ok, God is testing me, this is a small struggle I'm gonna have to go through. I just need faith and handle it as best as I can"

I'd gone through this before, and I've almost given up because of it. For some reason, I just occupied my mind with other things, and didn't give up. Now I am where I am today, and completely happy with all the things that have happened thus far. You just have to wait it out, which can seem like the hardest things to do when you're in a "down" period.

been there. it feels like a never ending nightmare sometimes, but you just have to find the "bright" side of things. personally i think that if you think positive, you'll attract good things to yourself (so cliche i know). if you're always thinking that things will never get better, they won't. just distract yourself from the things that go wrong (which could be many) and focus on the things that turn out good (be they few).

But the thing is, in these last two weeks, I thought things were gettng better by the way it was all going. But i got my hopes up cause I actually felt happy for once, and then it all just blew up in my face. Now I'm back to square one, waiting for something good to happen, meantime not trying to think of it too much.

Hmmm

Don't let negativity run your mind. You put too much thought into it and it'll become this sort of manifestation out of your negative thoughts, trust me when I say that the human mind is powerful.

Are things getting better, or are you getting better? You can't always change the circumstances around you. The only thing you can do is find a constructive way to make it through and get something out of the experience.

Stop waiting for good things to happen. MAKE good things happen. It's your damn life.

Just try not to think about it.

Usually if alot of things bad happen, something good will come out of it in the end.

^Ha, that's how i feel.
and i get it, i do try thinking positive, but everyday just keeps getting worse! and now it's to the point where i'm surrounded by extremely happy people with everything going well for them, and i just feel too out of place.

I think it's time for a vacation :[

Whoa! @ bad luck streak; well I've never had a bad luck streak, but there have been times where I wasn't happy & sick of it, but instead of being a pessimist & worrying about never being happy, I just chilled & got involved in things that made me genuinely smile, got rid of the people & things that caused me unhappiness of any sort, & just focused on myself & now I can honestly say I'm happy & my motto now is there's no reason to be sad when you are blessed. So to answer your question, it does get better, you just can't allow your mind to be persuaded otherwise by negativity.
