ok so I break up with my gf bcuz of distance issues and I know she still likes me BUT, a week after our break up she starts goin out with other guys..am I the only one who feels that is too early after our 6 month relationship?
I had the choice to go out with many girls and was asked to prom and everything but, I turned everyone down bcuz of her even though we weren't together at that time. |

Just because she's going out with other guys doesn't really mean anything. She could be just trying to make you jealous (like someone stated already). She probably thinks that she's "getting over you" by going out with these other guys but she's most likely not.
If you guys broke up, why would she want to come to a party you're throwing? Did you break up with her? or did she do it? |

we both like mutually did it I suppose bcuz we didn't get to see each other as much as we'd like to. However, she said that she still wanted to be friends n hangout n stuff when we could, that's why im so baffled by the fact that she's acting like such a bitch at the moment.

i'm sorry to say that girls do this. most of the time it is a rebound, sometimes it's the fact we miss being with someone (havnig been so long) and just happen to have someone like us so go for that...then when the "ex" comes along inviting us places..we see it too soon and just use this as a way to make you jealous.
side note - i don't do this. but i've seen so many girls do it. i wouldn't worry about it too much, but take your friendship a bit slower than you are at the moment and things should work out. |

I have to agree and say its probably a rebound. That, or she's trying to occupy her mind with something else OTHER than you, so she can get over you easier. My current boyfriend helped me get over my last one, and I helped him get over his ex-girlfriend, so we were each others distractions so that we could heal over time better. She might be doing the same. Just a thought.

Well, there's no telling and perhaps it is a bit soon; but to be honest if you broke up with her, it's up to her as to whether or not she starts seeing other people.
Perhaps she is trying to make you jealous, but if she is that's a rather childish game, and I would say that it doesn't exactly show she cares about you in the best way. |

this is all soo complicated, the thing with this girl is I want to teach her a permanent lesson and not get back with her and completely ignore her but that's just so hard because im so drawn to her.

Don't just assume it's a rebound. You're not inside her head. Maybe it isn't early for her, and maybe it doesn't bother her at all. She just might be completely ready to move onto someone else.
I don't think you should be turning people down just because you have feelings for someone else. Prom's a social event, and you don't have to go with someone you're interested in. |

Use the girl as a way to take your mind off of the ex. Later on when you learned a lot about the girl your friends with, then try to get with her.. if not.. just thank her for everything and stay as friends :P |
