Well I have a best friend,jordan, who I've pretty much clicked with since the beginning of the school year. She's been like a sister to me. Well, at the beginning of 2nd semester, I met this boy, Anthony, who sat next to me in math class, and in front of Jordan. After like a few weeks me and Anthony started going out, and it was like we had this group of best friends. Anthnny because me better friends with jordan, but you really couldnt call them best friends I guess. Well decided to break up with Anthony, because he was like barely talking to me, but talking to Jordan more than me. I would talk to him on IM and he would be talking to Jordan. Things were just like equal. Being his gf gave me no special attention from him. I was just another one of his friends. Well now that we broke up, him and Jordan and still calling themselves "best friends" and talking. I know its wrong but it annoys me. I feel like they will start going out or something.(even though she swears she doesnt like him..I believe her though) THe day I broke up with him, she moved from like number 12 on his top to number ONE. I was so pissed. Idk if im over reacting but I really cant stand my best friend being buddy buddy with my ex. I dont like it at all. :[
what do i do? Jordan says I'm jealous of everyone he talks to, and I'm not. |

but shes like best friends wtih my ex and its really getting weird. idk if i should be a jerk and tell her not to be best friends with him. thats really wrong to do. but thats what i want to do. i hate them being friends! ahh

Its not so much that im jealous. its just that i know they talk about me and stuff. isnt it supposed to be against "the code" or whatever to be like buddy buddy with your best friends ex? i wouldnt do that to someone. maybe i should just get over it and let them do their thing.

Don't ever tell your friends not to be friends with someone. You can share your concerns and how it makes you feel, but the first thing you need to keep in mind is that this is your friend's relationship with someone, not yours.
Friend fact #2: Don't make a stupid ultimatum and say or imply or subliminal message your friend that "If you're his friend, we can't be friends." Don't even halfway do that. It's absolutely childish and selfish. Communicate with your friend and tell her how you feel. Tell her how much it means to you, but let her make her own decision about your ex and don't let that decision influence what you've got with her. Friends do not drop each other over boys. /edit For the record, it's also against the "code" to be buddybuddy with your ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend and all her girlfriends, but I'm doing it (and he thinks it's the most awkward thing ever and thinks it's a huge conspiracy). f**k the code, man. |

yeah, we have talked about it and she knows i dont like it. i know, i wouldnt tell her to stop being friends with him..i guess i was just trying to see if she would stop on her own. lol thats horrible.
you are right. i should just get over it. its their relationship. thankkk yaaa. :] |
