Uhh. "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" haha, that's the only book that I've read every year. Otherwise, Edgar Allen Poe, ftw.

Hmm off the top of my head... Shirley Jackson's short story "The Lottery" was pretty thought-provoking. It's not my favourite, but it's definitely somewhere up there.

Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. That was an amazing book. It had everything and was so, so funny and entertaining.

Only fictional book I've read and enjoyed was "The Hobbit". I don't really like fiction books, I tend to read more non-fictional now a days.
