What type of link do I need for custom pictures on DIV layout? Options

Ok, I'm using a DIV layout called Subzero that is actually a really good layout. I followed all of the instructions in how to put in my friendid and whatnot but then it came to the part about putting in pictures for like my friends and my default pic.. This is the first time I have tried something like this so I was wondering what type of link I need. I tried using pictures from my friend's MySpaces but it didn't work and just replace it with 2 periods. Do I have to use photobucket or something like that for pictures or can I use MySpace?

First off, you have to have an image (like your friends - or some sort) and upload it into an imagehost. Such as photobucket, imageshack.us (recommended), etc.

Then you just link the image with the following code:
