Help? Myspace Div Overlay!, Div Problems. Options

Hi

I have basic knowledge with div overlays, but have never made one from scratch. I have designed the layout i want myself (almost) But cant make it function properly. Hear is a screen capture of part of my layout.



As you can see its a big div overlay.. And that was not even quarter of the whole layout! LOL

There are a few problems i am having. And I'm just totally confused, and cant go any further in completing my layout. I cannot get my friends comments to display in a div. I have tryed some codes do try and get it to display, but it just wont. But my main concern is the div individuality. Currently all the divs are set to the same characteristics, i want to change each box's Borders, backgrounds to there own individual specifications. (I sound like a nerd)

I have looked everywhere at TUT'S and Forums. But nothing that i understand helps.

As u can see I'm desprit!!! For anyone who can take a look and help me build it rite! I think im using the wrong method to build it. If u have any better ways to create Div Overlays please tell me... Keeping in mind im blond and like it simple, so i can change it it future.

PLEASSSSSSSSE Help me.


Also... I have seen on peoples myspaces they have 2 backgrounds.

Background 1, is 100px from each side if there profile, and the other is on the main part of there profile.. If u want an example of what im talking about click Hear!!!!!!!

That is one massive layout. There is a code somewhere around here to get the friends in a div. other than that I cant tell what exactly your problem is.
