The Ex Staff, What were you? Options

OK, so I've noticed recently via people's comments that a lot of members used to be members of CB staff - and then stepped down for whatever reason. I thought (seeing as I boggled at some revelations) that ex-staff could post here what they were, and why (if appropriate) they stepped down.

Members that have never been staff can also voice who was what, and current staffies can post previous positions.

I was Xanga Staff and then Design Staff back in 04-05 but I stepped down eventually because I got pissed off with one of our Admins at the time because she seemed to think that if a design staffer had ANY GRAPHICS at all on their hard drive, that they were obligated to code them and submit them to cb as layouts, no matter if you actually wanted to share that certain design with cb or not. Her justification for this was because we could "easily do so." And if we weren't doing just that, we weren't doing our jobs... even if we had about 30 layouts at the time, and still managed to submit one per week, plus keep up with the queue and stay active in the RC. She was an idiot and still is.

When I asked her to demote me, she refused to for a good couple hours because she seemed convinced that in order to demote me it had to be a unanimous decision by all three admins at the time. Like it wasn't obvious to her that if someone was ASKING to be demoted, it was a completely different situation than if someone was GETTING demoted for something like inactivity. So I stalked all her posts on the forum and replied to them with "DEMOD ME" in bold caps until she finally had the guts to do it.

Good times.

For the record, I think I pwn her silly ass in terms of adminship.

So, I very informally resigned and left cB for a few months or so (just a few posts every once and a while, maybe a lurk or two). And, here I am again - more pessimistic and cynical than ever. I love evolution.

Then eventually I was put up to design staff, then I got kicked off staff for a month.(I pretended to be someone else and then put in a application to be on people staff xD, and they found it to be something or another. Can't remember o_O, but it was as a joke) Came back as myspace staff, then stepped down. Then came back as design staff sometime in 07, then went to head staff, then went to admin, and them mentor, and now I'm back at design staff.

I'm not sure when I was modded, I know it wasn't that long after I joined though (spring of 06 maybe?, I registered in December of 05 I think). Anyway, my staffing evolution:
People Staff -> Head Staff -> Administrator -> Mentor-> Got the hell out -> Came back -> Mentor -> deciding not to wait until my kid was in middle school, Administrator

Things have calmed down A LOT since my last stint on staff, which was a huge determining factor on me coming back. That and it was suggested that I should return and I felt good about it.

Mentor isn't just below Jusun. They have no modding or administrative abilities at all. Since Jusun is the root administrator, the administrators would be next in line (I presume). And it's Head Staff and above that can become mentors at this point. --ack, sorry J, I didn't see the responses above.

I was promoted to promoted to People Staff I believe in January of 2004. I don't remember when I first resigned, but I did so because I was no longer interested in this site or its purpose.

I came back later on, saw that this place was a total pile of shit, and reapplied for staff. They didn't want to accept me at first but my awesomeness and WONDERFUL COCK won them over and I was reaccepted to people staff. I tried to change the way the mod team did things, but the people in charge didn't like me undermining their authority. mona lisa pmed me about some horseshit reason about why I was doing a bad job, so I said f**k you and resigned.

Then I went on a guerilla campaign on the mod staff, micron got really pissed at me, and I think he made brownsugar admin just to spite me. Then people noticed my GIANT DONG and sympathized with my cause. More and more people started questioning the way things were run. They set up this cool website and stuff.

Finally, she went batshit insane, probably because she couldn't fathom the size of my GIGANTIC WIENER. And the rest is history.

Anna actually told Spencer about it (not Steven), because I remember from that conversation it really seemed like we were this little secret society and I was conspiring with you guys against people on staff.

I don't think I was the only one who knew because Michelle brought it up and got mad at me before I said anything. To be honest, I really can't even remember what their plan was, I just remember James being in a chat with Anna, Rebecca, Kiera, Jusun, and whoever else was higher up and almost talking his way into getting Head Staff. They all agreed, but then some other people we promoted (Kara? Dee?) instead of James. I think it was because they needed Suzzette's input and she made a new chat, but wouldn't let Anna or James join because they had absolutely nothing to do with anything. At first, I wasn't sure what was going on fully, but went along with them because I didn't really look at it as a conspiracy.
