Alrighty, I'm off to the States soon and I've already decided to cut my pony down by at least half. Thing is, I need a decent color to dye my hair as I currently have some older streaks that need covering.

If I go with red and gold streaks as I usually do, the sun's liable to bleach me ginger. I was thinking a deep chocolatey brown might do the trick, but would the sun lighten this or would it be more likely to fade?

Any experiences with hair color and sun damage is appreciated; seeing as I must see the sun once every two years or so and haven't the foggiest, ha.

my sister dyes her hair a chocolate-brown color and it usually lightens through the sun and doesnt fade. i`ve never dyed my hair, so i wouldnt know, but i`m sure it depends on the dye? eh, not really sure. shrug.gif
