NEED HELP=], hiding section[s] Options

Ohk..you know how there's the general section and interest section and all that..I need some help with deleting all of that..but still adding text/pictures in that area. I don't want the blue sections at all. I kinda want it to look similar to the example on this page:

No..I would like for the "general,interest,etc" to be hidden.But I would still like to add content there.And without the blue default background of those sections!

but i have another problem.
im not sure where to add the content and Idk how to take away the old content. Im not sure how to take "single" "sign" off.
